I did the same thing last year. But it's not "primarily" an amp sim. It's a 2 Channel Mini DAW without the complexity of a full blown DAW. There is sooo much automation built into this thing you can use it as an amp modeler/pedal board, or as a full blown studio/recording solution using the amp modeler/effects of your choice and not theirs..
