That is how you demonstrate a VST. Really makes me think of my EBow. Live, you hide a small laptop with a MIDI controller and you are not distracted by your DAW. And nobody knows its not amp feedback. You can stack fakes Marshall amps like Metallica did and the crowd won't see a thing, while you are in total control of your sound.
Sounds like a really heavy/elaborate/impractical/expensive way to hide being embarrassed of using an amp sim live...
@@bfluker85 Sounds like judging. Maybe he just wants all the good aesthetics of the rocker experience but has back pain and doesn't want to carry heavy stuff.
Could be that he doesn't have the money to sound like that live but maybe he has other midi controllers laptop and plugins laying around from other occupations apart from guitar playing and, let's be honest here, one could get all those plugins for free, meanwhile, valve amps and huge cabinets and all the wiring and stuff could be more expensive (virtually 0) quite fast.

This thing sounds more like pan flute than guitar feedback.
sounds pretty good but in the intro it transitions into feedback just a bit too fast in my opinion. For me personally it should've been building up a little bit slower. Which I'm sure is adjustable.

2. Natural Mode: The note(s) will continue to ring its natural fundamental tone as long as
the string(s) are free to vibrate and the Sustainer System is on.
3. Mix Mode: Available on select models including our FSK-401 Sustainer Kit, the Mix mode
blends the Natural and Harmonic Mode to harmonize indefinitely every
ringing note creating a harmonized feedback effect.
Hey - thanks for the demo. The software sounded real nice. BUT - what a shame you didn't use a pedal for midi control, AND I don't understand that you went to so much trouble to create an awesome video BEFORE fully understanding how the software works. Just saying (not hating). Cheers. ps - I love the green screen / computer screen effect. Very nice indeed.

Beware ????? of the demo it freezes Logic pro if you save a song with it. You have to uninstall software from the components. Not very nice to have to trouble shoot this. ????
This is indeed a known issue (due to the demo nag screen), we are working on a fix for that. If you keep an instance of the plug-in opened in the session (with an empty project for example), you should be able to open the other project without any problem. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I love you Henning but I'm not a fan of this thing...
The whole point with feedback is that it's random and almost uncontrollable and it's all down to the player how they manipulate the sound: with volume, note choice, proximity to the speaker etc. and there is only one way to achieve this - play a loud guitar in front of an amp. This product doesn't sound like feedback at all, it's just a guitar controlled synth... Sorry for the negative comment but that's my opinion.
Hope you and Leslie are keeping well - we've just had all bars, clubs, theatres etc. shut down in the UK, so plenty of time now to brush up on my jazz chops..! :-)
Not everyone has the luxury of cranking their amps to get feedback, recording feedback is a major headache on top of that too
