    I thought the sender had to be compatible with the gauge? Something to do with ohms

      They do have to have the same operating range. Many of the generic ones will list the sender or gauge model they work with. The one I used came as a package.

    Great video.. I'm looking at purchasing this identical unit. Do you have any feedback on how well this lasted? Were you satisfied with the accuracy?

      I only installed it 5 months ago but it is still working. It should be fairly accurate if you take the time to adjust the height and float arm to best suit your tank.
