You're doing insanely good for your first week. I do suggest looking at Excal's Art tips. I've been watching his shorts for a while now and it's done wonders for me since he's able to explain mistakes, why they happen, and how to fix them. There's nothing there that pertains to any certain art styles, but instead he explains anatomy and the fundamental rules of art.
I feel the same way. After 4-5 days drawing and looking at tutorials of basics, I think I know exactly to do next for me: learn how to draw a goddamn circle! Bonus is putting it into muscle memory lol Best of luck on your art journey dude!
As an artist, let me just say that you're already doing pretty good,it's better than what half of my class can draw. I can definitely see your improvement, you're a fast learner. I will say that your skill tends to shine more through anime related art. My favorite piece was 2:30 your skill level looks advanced here, you definitely went all out on this piece and it shows! Keep drawing dude never stop improving! Being able to draw and create art is a fun skill to have :)
Using references is a good way to start drawing but never depend on just using references,i used to do this and it hindered my art for years,i couldn't improve. If there's any advice i can give is to just experiment, think of random things to draw or use different colors, pratice different methods. Find what works for you but never stop experimenting and practice when you can. What helped me a lot is a specific video,it's by a RUclips creator named marc brunet and its called The Beginners Guide To Drawing,it'll help you out a ton and it basically gives you pointers on what you should be practicing to improve 👍🏼
@@chickenmcnugget7988 you should be able to tell if your art is in the same level as a beginner. You can be good (for a beginner) or bad (for someone that draws for a long time), in all levels you will have people that like your art. Don't pity yourself, take proud of your progress and look up to get better that you were yesterday. english it's not my first language etc etc
hope you enjoyed week 1! what would you want to see me draw next? :)
i think yuji from jjk would be cool!!🤯
Sparkle from honkai star rail she's got quite a simple hairstyle:)

Quick tip to improve your noses: Skip drawing the bridge of the nose if you are drawing them looking straight at the camera.
