Here's 13 ideas for creating spooky Ghost House levels in Super Mario Maker 2.
The names of the ideas are inspired by famous horror movies and books, can you get all the references?

The Blooper's movements are actually a lot like a ghost. In the 2d themes it floats down and occasionally pushes itself back up, and in 3d world it twists around. Cool idea.

At first I was shocked at the semi-profanity at idea 6, but then I laughed.
I would hardly call it "making a big deal" out of it when I not only called it semi-profanity, but also said I laughed at it. I was implying the opposite of it being a big deal.

Technically, based on Alphadream, Mario and Paper Mario are 2 separate characters.

No one made a list of the movie references yet. Instead, everyone is commenting about the 666.
With that said, I'm gonna make a somewhat long shot and say the first 2 are Saw references. (Long shot because I know nothing about that movie, except that some RUclipsrs associate DKCTF's W2 minecart level with it.)
EDIT: Just realized Idea 1 is literally named Saw.
EDIT 2: Actually, all of the idea names sound like they could just straight up be the movie titles.

hey, did you know Luigi is different from the other characters??
it has a different run in NEW Super Mario Bros, and probaly in 3D world too, but I didn't check it
If the orphanage had 26 ded kids, then how is the orphanage not even scratched? And how do they all remember where they died? (or maybe they didn't die there, that makes question 1 make much more sense)

looygi (or anyone) can u investigate an odd thing i found pls? (Yes there is more that the setup. press show more)
use these things in a level:
nightime jungle theme
mario bros 3
mushroom platform
a type 2 semisolid overlapped with the mushroom platform to be exactly the same height, width and position.
THEN:
save, then return to the level
move the semisolid up one tile so that the semisolid is now behind the mushroom platform (unless it already was but still do as follows)
move the semisolid back down so that it is still behind the mushroom platform.
upload the level without the setup in the picture (do this from the editor not the coursebot)
in the clear check, the semisolid will be in the foreground. (if its not make more of the overlapping things i think there's some chance involved.)
quit the clear check to return to the editor. for some reason the semisolid is in the foreground there now too.

(these are starting with the mushroom platform in the front)
running it in the editor does not seem to have the same effect. (nothing happens)
I did this in the sub area (im not sure if it works otherwise)
certain other things that overlap the setup seem to change if the semisolid comes to the front
all the beggining specifications may be optional (i don't know if they are)

Did you try if reloading the level brings the semisolid back to the foreground as well? If so, that's probably just a wrong state that didn't get updated properly.
