Spawn blocking and ghost house themed levels work together so well in many different ways. Combine spawn blocking with the room loading/scroll stopping mechanic and you'll have one heck of a puzzle.

@@Arrowstotle Any non-music sound effect can play if put on Mario by crouching or taking damage. Music sound effects will play for the entire level if placed on Mario.

My favourite ghost house idea is unfortunately not from this video (although all these ideas were cool) it’s from super discord world 2 G8T-460-1SG
It is in my opinion the best traditional ghost house I’ve seen in MM2. It uses a lot of traditional elements and uses p switches in a very creative way, I won’t spoil it in case you ever give it a try
No worries! There are countless amazing levels out there. One of my favorites is “House of Oob”. Not sure if you’ve ever seen that one

IS THE BEST GHOST HOUSE I EVER SEEN
Instead of using objects on munchers on boos, you can just use cannons/blasters this makes it safer when activating p switches and can even make extra challenges like if you need to get an item from the blaster and put it on top.
Great tip! I think blasters would be the best as long as you put coins inside so it doesn’t shoot. Thanks for sharing!

With the second one, I once saw a Ghost House themed-level, but instead of a clock it had a bell, and after 12 chimes you would die.

I actually used the magic mirror idea in a small portion of a level of mine.
If playing and publishing levels didn't require a membership, I would definetly publish quite a few levels and some super worlds on both of my account.
1:00 can also be easily achieved by just placing a para-beetle on top of a boo. it is a much more space-efficient and simple design.

I made my first ghost house with a P door beside a pipe... when you go through the pipe the one you come out of spawns p switches... there is a p door in that room that takes you to a pipe that goes back to the beginning of the level... you have to take the p switch backwards through the first pipe to progress... felt like a good ghost house trick since you can clearly see the dotted lines of the p doors in maker

I did a very simple ghost house idea. I put a hidden block near two blocks to make it look like nothing's there. but you actually have to hit in the middle of the blocks.

Here’s another idea: Mario got tired of constantly trying to save the princess, so he decided to go back to Brooklyn. When he got back to his old house, he noticed that it wasn’t the same. It was haunted by Satan’s younger brother. In this house, there will be all kinds of routes that Mario can take. Mario never knows what area each route will lead him to. Only one of the routes leads to the next area. All of the other routes lead to a room with a monster who tries to kill Mario. When he picks the route that leads to the next area, he encounters The Devil’s brother, who gave himself a monstrous appearance and chases Mario. Once Mario reaches the pipe at the end of the chase, he can escape this psychopathic demon and get back to the Mushroom Kingdom as soon as possible.

Hey, I've got an idea. It will sound a bit dumb but could you maybe make ideas for the Ground Theme? I really like it and am stuck on ideas. I just think it's really vibrant.
Definitely not a dumb idea! I’m currently working toward making ideas for each of the 10 themes so it is definitely one I will do in the future. As of now, I have 6 of the 10 themes complete!

I didn’t use any of these ghost house ideas although I did use the timer on one of my castle levels for the boss I used Bowser Junior but I could easily jump over him and get the axe so I set clear condition But since the level was so long and I kept dying I put in checkpoints but the checkpoints got rid of the clear condition and I was at a loss until I remembered I watched this video while I was eating breakfast
a lot of ghost house levels are just plain trial and error, they are usally just frustrating mazes where if you pick the wrong door, you'll go to a previous part of the level. so it's nice to have one that isn't like this.

And I would try to keep the title as short as possible. Maybe it's better for SEO to write "Ghost House Ideas" twice, but I think for thouse videos it's better to go for recommendations instead of search-rank.
