I worked at the refinery doing scaffolding for years. It’s crazy going over the Platt bridge and not seeing all the structures and pipelines anymore.

Ok, I sure hope they did a geological survey and checked the ground and water for carcinogenics. Personally Id be leery about living or working the site of an old oil refinery. I know he says the cleaned it but the people in that area have complained about fumes and smells for decades.

It does sound like a nice project, but the project should build into the plan afloodplain weekend that lines the river. This will help with flooding throughout southwest and south Philly. Raising the entire sure out of the floodplain will likely induce flooding challenges.

There’s no way that you’re going to tell me the ground isn’t contaminated, I can guarantee there will be future lawsuits

The best thing you could do is make it a park with lots of trees. Enough development.

What they need to do is stop all the killings and the guns in Philadelphia. I wouldn't build anything there
