- Join Toni, Remy and Judy the RUclips Lawyer in the 2nd part of a dramatic reading of the police interview transcript, where a police officer and FBI agent spoke with June, one of Dr. Charlie Adelson's exes, on 7/24/2018. Adelson is in jail in Leon County, Florida, awaiting trial for his role in the murder of FSU law professor Dan Markel. Markel had been married to Charlie Adelson's sister Wendi, and the two had been through a contentious divorce in 2013. Court matters were still pending when Markel was shot in his garage on 7/18/2014. Adelson's other ex, Katherine Magbanua, was convicted of murder, conspiracy, and solicitation of murder earlier this year and sentenced to life in prison in July. She is expected to make a proffer by the end of this month. Who was really behind Dan Markel's murder?

June is so smitten which is what Charlie wants. He is a narcissist and they need them needy. He doesn’t love or care about anyone but himself. Just wish she would see it. I cannot believe she still loves him after everything he done to her, but that is typical narcissistic behaviour
@alidadebruyn36 on the jail calls from last November, both Janis & Bri said "I love you" to Charlie, who ignored them. I think later Charlie said "thanks" to Bri.

Katie also told him she loves him at least he told her I love you back but then she had a hit to cover for him, so he got something out of it. I don’t know why all these woman think he is something to boast as. They should be happy they had a lucky escape from him. His baby mama was not so lucky

I kept thinking about Katie's response when Garcia called her from the road saying the job was done and Katie's response was, "I know." How did she know? She knew bc a cop guarding the roped off area testified he saw a vehicle similar to WA's quickly make a u-turn and get out of there. Then WA called CA and he called KM. It was 2016 when KM was arrested and DA was crying her eyes out etc. I wonder how she's holding up now with CA in custody? Probably loosing her mind. WA didn't look tired maybe even hung over when she testified in May. What a big horrible mess. Those poor boys without their dad, surrounded by all those mentally screwed up people. So tragic.

No idea you could so completely transform yourself like this. Somewhere I read that lawyers disenchanted with their careers are often successful in teaching...or in ACTING!
I think a lot of lawyers (the litigators) enjoyed acting. Presenting in court is similar to acting. :) One of my former employers has acted for years in different local theater productions. Thanks for watching us!

I spent over 8 hours listening to testimony yesterday while painting,..I had seen it months ago but revisited..and Special Agent Sanford was on the stand in 6-7 parts on Law and crime…theres a Lot more audio on there between Katie and Charlie.
Of course none on Donna bc it was Katies trial.
Id suggest people revisit his testimony and listen to the audios..
Sure, it's always interesting to rewatch parts of the trial.

The murder was supposed to take place on Thursday 7/17
That is why Wendi was seen at the home.
She probably thought it had happened already.

And it appeared that she got back together again with Charlie in 2019, just in time for the first trial. Afaik they're no longer in contact (thanks to True Lifestyles' sleuthing).
June was very forthcoming in this interview because Charlie was out of her life one year prior to this interview and unable to control her. During both trials he was back in her life and it was obvious she was protecting him and walking back this interview because he was back to controlling her. I do believe she has most likely moved on and will be more helpful and forthcoming when she takes the stand this time around instead of protecting him. Ironically Charlie called her the night before his arrest and she didn’t call him back.
Same here, I hope she will be more helpful.

It's really hard to understand how June could still be so blinded by him, her worth is not tied to Charlie's whims.

I didn't really practice but I'd listened to the audio about 9 times & watched her trial testimony. "Remy" is someone from Florida who has also been very interested in the Markel case. It's great to have him & Toni read too!
Why didn’t this stuff come up in trial to speak to his character? They brought up things but didn’t probe or question her too much on her contrary responses during trial versus this interview. Especially the grieving part. She literally said multiple times they showed no sympathy and she thought it was weird. He was physically emotionally verbally abusive during the time the case “resurfaced” June said in court he showed sympathy through actions not words?? WTF? And then she said he showed or probably sympathy when they no longer spoke. How can she say what he did when she wasn’t around and why would she assume he grieved later if he didn’t even grieve or say a word earlier on? She was too afraid to even ask him questions. She stayed with him despite his long vacations partying with friends and being with girls in the Philippines (I.e. having sex with underage prostitutes). If ur boyfriend ever says he’s going on a trip by himself for fun to Thailand or other places known for this….theres a good chance he’s having sex with prostitutes well under 18. There are “underground dating activities” where a bunch of men go over there for teen girls for the week, like 24/7 sex trips. If u like to travel the world that’s cool, and if u like to go alone or with the same friend, ok, but going to the exact same one or two places when u can keep exploring new places…. No way. You’re going there for specific illegal things that u would be forever canceled for if it came to light.
