I’ve hardly listened to a lot of Xiao’s voice lines in English as I’m more used to his Chinese voice, but oh wow…it’s true what they say: he really _does_ sound almost too angry/edgy in the English dub?? HDKSLFHSK it’s just so surprising how mean he comes off as. 😂 And it’s not like that means the English VA is terrible or anything…it just doesn’t entirely suit the original image of the character that I’m personally used to ahaha. As for Scara, his English dub does also sound angry, but without the tinge of…instability/insanity?
