I love this bag and your instructions have given me confidence to actually make a zipper pocket for the first time. I do have a question. How far down from the top should the zipper template be on the pocket. I did not see where that measurement was given so I went 1.5" down to draw the template.
Oh, I forgot to mention: towards the beginning when making the blocks, you state "Sew the seams open". I think you meant to say press to one side since later you say to press one row in one direction and the next row in opposite direction. This way we can nest the seams. I realized what you meant after viewing the entire process. thank you!
I love your bags your instructions are very clear could you please make a overnight bag or Duffer bag as i would love to make it keep up your great tutorials

What is the purpose of adding the D Rings to the straps? Why do you need this extra step rather than sewing one continuous strap?
the d-rings are purely accessory, you can skip them and make the typical continuous straps of course.
