Hiiii, welcome back to my channel!
We are now on the road to 100K Subscribers, and I think the Mowienatics are aiming to hit the target on/before my birthday on the 2nd June.. Are we gonna make it happen???? Thank you though so much to everyone who's been showing so much love here! Hope you're all doing okay out there during this lockdown/pandemic.
I am very excited to share this cover for many reasons, one being MARIAHHHHH! In line with one of her fabulous albums 'The Emancipation of Mimi' 's 15th Anniversary, it is our pleasure to celebrate this masterpiece.. This particular song is my jam in so many levels, one that I can relate to, and hopefully a reminder to everyone that the Lord has got our backs and will carry us through especially during the most challenging of times. I am also thrilled to share this rendition with 2 of my good friends/team/music mentors in the industry: Songwriter-producer KIKX/KIKO SALAZAR (on keys and backups), and musical director ADONIS TABANDA (on bass and backups).. If you guys only knew the backstory, I would say it was definitely destiny that brought us three together! ♡

I'm super late responding to this, but you deserve props for your kindness and positivity, Cindy. I was a lamb growing up and then discovered Morissette later in life. Both are two of my favorite singers ever. Morissette is a lamb, too, who loves and respects Mariah. It's sad to see some of the petty bickering in the comments when it's clear that Morissette chose to sing this to honor Mariah, not to try to copy or outdo her. Anyway, thank you!

I know that I'm usually late to the party when it comes to this stuff, but for what it's worth, here's my take:
I've been on this earth for more than 48 years, and if I've ever seen a better version of a cover song, I can't think of it at this moment.
And it's not just one thing, it's the overall package.
The lead vocals: Morissette is an absolute beast. The range, and the multiple techniques that she uses here, are over the top good.
The background vocals are very well done.
The musicianship is fantastic.
I'd be interested to know who else played on this besides the two guys shown here, who are also singing background vocals.
I have a background as a professional percussionist, and the drum set part is right on point.
And this is a feel good video, because it just makes you happy to watch and listen to this.
It would be interesting to learn how something like this comes together, with different people recording different parts, from different places at different times.
This is proof that a global pandemic, and all the rules and restrictions that go along with it don't have to stop you from doing something amazing.
It's also interesting to see the reaction videos from professional vocal coaches. Even they seem to be very impressed.
Seriously, this is amazing, and it blew my mind.

I stumbled onto Morissette music a couple of weeks ago by chance and have watched quite a few of her performances since and I still cannot believe I have never heard of her here in Australia. You know how there are good singers and there are really good singers and then there are a hand full of exceptional singers on this planet. Well ... Morissette is sitting right on top of that list! OMG can this girl sing or what!!! She has this beautiful texture and tone to her voice! I mean she can sing the phone book and I would still listen to her sing. And what I love about Morissette is how she is so down to earth and always happy and cheerful. A real bundle of joy! I really hope Morissette gets the recognition internationally because her gifted voice should be appreciated and heard all around the world!
