I feel a little guilty not doing my own tuning for my first foray into NT. I really was most interested in seeing how I could mix her vocals before digging into the editor. I wasn't sure about Miku's new sound at first, but I think there is potential.
The VSQx will sound slightly different because it was made specifically to Una Spicy's singing style, but this doesn't seem so bad! The only issues with her VB so far is that she sounds muffled and nasal. That gets fixed, and I might as well forget Vocaloid4 LOL
You can actually hear almost every lyric! I usually have a hard time picking up words on songs in general, but with Vocaloid, it's usually harder. I don't know if this clarity is due to the Piapro engine or is the tuning, but it sounds pretty good and more importantly, understandable!
I still feel Vocaloid provides a much clearer vocal. Much of the clarity of the vocals can be refined and brought out in the mixing processes. Hearing the vocals clearly is the most important part, but it's pretty hard to find that perfect balance of volume automation without going too soft or loud.
Or two languages 👀 In Miku NT's official page, they announced that EVEC is coming back, so the chances of it being two languages are higher than before! but, i can't get my hopes up ;(
personally?? this seems easier to sing along with, due to me having a slightly nasal-like voice and I get really frustrated when I try to make myself not sound nasally when singing. -although i still have to try and not sound like a broken oven due to me also having a lower pitched voice-
