This was made at the time I started drawing at age 10. I thought every speedpaint back then was perfect and that speedpaint artists reached a level that I hoped I could master one day. I'm now 22. To this day as I am now a lot more advanced in my own art, this piece is still really impressive, but I am now at the level where I can see the "goof ups" in the artwork. As an artist you'll discover that there is no such thing as a perfect masterpiece in art, even in the most realistic and the most creative. The beauty in art is being able to see the supposed tiny flaws here and there, but the artist's strengths and passions overshadowing them.

I really love this video is part of my childhood ❤ Later I lost where the video was, because I didn’t knew how to read and write so I didn’t knew the name. I love how something is considered to be very beautiful when it's overdecorated back then, nowadays oversimplification is also beautiful 😭 The way you color, shade and highlight without making it look bad is like a magic skill that took ages to get and you used all of it to make this magnificent artwork! :3
