This was made at the time I started drawing at age 10. I thought every speedpaint back then was perfect and that speedpaint artists reached a level that I hoped I could master one day. I'm now 22. To this day as I am now a lot more advanced in my own art, this piece is still really impressive, but I am now at the level where I can see the "goof ups" in the artwork. As an artist you'll discover that there is no such thing as a perfect masterpiece in art, even in the most realistic and the most creative. The beauty in art is being able to see the supposed tiny flaws here and there, but the artist's strengths and passions overshadowing them.
I have no idea why this is being recommended to me now but it does bring me back. I remember not knowing about layers or clipping, so I always thought the way they managed to draw on only one area was simply magic

I really love this video is part of my childhood ❤ Later I lost where the video was, because I didn’t knew how to read and write so I didn’t knew the name. I remember when Paint Tool SAI was the most used app back in 2010s, nowadays you only see Procreate being used, i remember i would die just to get Paint Tool SAI and probrably my first ever advanced art program i wanted, good times ❤

This reminds me of how i was little, i was going with my mother outside and the sky was grey, a bit cold and windy. It's nostalgic to think about it and this drawing reminds me of that memory
