@@R56Cooper the speed bump change is absolutely mind blowing. I used to disengage for them, but now the car handles them perfectly. Can’t believe it’s just going to keep getting better

I am in Kamloops and i got it 2 days ago and i drove to work uphill in 2 inches of snow and fsd did it well. Not perfect but not bad. I used wiper fluid to clean the windshield and fsd threw up the red hands to take over. But it is amazing update
Amazing video! Super excited to watch your coverage on fsd 13. I live in Squamish and I gotta find someone with a HW4 car to try this version out! So exciting
Agree 100% on unsupervised FSD triggering significant interest in FSD. Basically L3 with a graceful handoff. Maybe a half dozen deficiencies need to be fixed first. I've been using v13.4.1 for a couple of days. 1 disengagement caused by a very complex roundabout with 4-6 lanes. Unfortunately the latest NA map broke FSD at the roundabout. Used to work fine. Otherwise FSD has been very nice.
@@luizpereira7165 Oops I'm using v13.2.1. Sorry about that mistake. Updated from v12.5.6.4 a few days ago. Amazing improvement. Have been using FSD since Oct 2021.
Regarding the stop signs, I think it mimics user behavior too perfectly. Almost nobody slows down to 0, so they must have hardcoded it or used some other system to force that behavior.
@@Freiheit-uy3nw yeah it definitely feels likes it’s trying so hard to do the human like rolling stop, but it has something hard coded to say that it can’t.
great review. i think mercedes is far behind from this level of performance and Waymo cars cost $200'000 each and must map the city they will operate in before. Tesla FSD 13 is in another league all together.
@@Jackolivierbo I 100% agree with you, the only reason I mentioned Mercedes is because technically they have a level 3 ADAS system. But I would still rather FSD.

Good video. I got this last night. I tried it today from an undercover parking lot at an office to home. It got out of the parking lot and made it all the way home. It did so very impressively. But it was just a short drive - 10 miles. Curious if it didn’t let the truck in because you were in Hurry mode?
you mentioned you drove a waymo and said the tesla is just as good. but can you offer more specific details like - which one drives smoother in stops, turns, around pedestrians, etc - which one reacts faster - which one drives more like you would also I think you pressed the accelerator a little prematurely. I re-watched that clip several times. there was a person who was running across the street in FSD's view. that same guy proceeded to move BEHIND the others (in the direction of the street) and I think FSD was anticipating that guy popping out from behind the others.
Not sure I agree with you on Tesla using their fleet to create new and separate maps. There’s so much more to it, like satellite imagery, Google Streets, etc that took ages.
@@t1328 I think using existing map data with Teslas car data would be the best implementation of this. You’d get real time updates for road closures, accidents, etc. faster and more reliably than you get it with Google maps.
