Especially since it won't hurt his concept of an auxiliary small knife for hunters. Similar geometry, but with a flat grind, was seen on cold hunting fixed knives from Böker and Fox.
TY. Makes me want a Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter in full flat gring. I don't know if that would work with the current spear point though.
