20:20 White Room
Jack and Ginger in one of their rare harmonious periods...
Clem Clempson is magnificent
yes you`re right, but near to ginger baker and jack bruce, he seems small
@@osmarruiz4777 Listen to Clem's solos in Humble Pie's "I Wonder" (ruclips.net/video/-hSHn2fcNK4/видео.html) - he's a giant, even if he's not trying to outdo his fellow player's egos.
Underrated by the general public, but not by Colosseum fans like me and connoisseurs. Besides Jack Bruce Clem has also played with and recorded for Paul McCartney, BB King, Roger Waters, Roger Daltrey, Billy Cobham, David Sancious, Tanita Tikaram, Mike and the Mechanics, Rod Argent, Aaron Neville, Maxi Priest, Bob Dylan , Joshua Kadison, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Kiri Te Kanawa, Roger Chapman, Chaka Khan, Sniff and the Tears, Cozy Powell, Ken Hensley, Jon Anderson, Tom Waits, Chris de Burgh, Bonnie Tyler, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Karl Jenkins, and some more. He also worked on soundtracks for well-known films, e.g. Notting Hill. It's unbelievable that Clem Clempson, who still looks youthful today, will soon be 74 (born 5 September 1949).
@@Volker_GR definitely not underated by Jack Bruce... I saw "Jack Bruce and friends" with Clem Clempson back in the 80's and he was absolutely amazing.
I was lucky. it was one of the best live shows I ever saw.
Clem Clempson is a genius, excellent from Humble Pie to Colosseum .Check him in out in Bakerloo ,one of the finest power trios ever.
R.I.P Pete Brown (d. 19 May 2023), poet. What a loss. Now climbing the Rope Ladder To The Moon...
Wow, nice and awesome guitar work there by Clem! 🥰😘👍👍👍
White Room am anderen Tag mit Gary Moore was even better!
Ginger casually smoking while beating the shit out of those drums.....these guys were just a different breed.
Ginger certainly had his own unique blues/jazz way of playing drums 😊
Beautiful playing and singing! A welcome post, this.
Brilliant video, masters of their art .
say what you want about Jack & Ginger fighting but they are with no doubt they are the best together
Terrific show, such tasteful guitar playing too. I learned a lot watching how Clem use the volume knob.
Jack and Ginger were like an old married couple for decades.
No Coment,geile Musik einfach 🤬🙈🙉🙊
Danke schön
Du sagst es, einfach geile Musik!! ☺️
Also unforgettable in this concert the song Ships In The Night in a duet with the amazing Maggie Reilly. A bittersweet love song.

Yeah, that organ solo was for the crapper.
WTF key is he playing in?
@@classicguitarfan8 shit minor
Awesome!
Beautifull song.
Ginger got GAME!
Totally Cool Post.
How’s the bass sound? Awesome👍🏻
23:23 Ginger drum break.
It is !
Very sensitive 👍️
I went to a jack and ginger concert and a fight broke out.... I went to a fight and cream music came on ... what?
Is that Simon Phillips drum kit on the right?
Yes.
Der Ginger Baker trommelt und die Asche fällt nicht runter. Wie geht das?
Bernie Worrell - organ
That's right - unfortunately his solo in "Politician" (14:52) sucks, and luckily it's his only one. But I know he can be a phantastic keyboard player!
@@bobbynoe1 Who knows if Bernie has rehearsed this song? Did he know this song? Rory Gallagher didn't know "Politician", he improvised when he played with Jack in "Rockpalast". I'm sure Rory could have played a more interesting solo next time.
@@user-kl8gp8yt4n First: "Politician" is one of Cream's most popular songs - unthinkable that an old hand like BW didn't know this song. And after all, this is a completely normal blues that any seasoned musician could easily improvise to. Maybe BW simply got the key wrong and didn't even hear himself.
I agree with your version of an unsuccessful organ solo. But Gallagher didn't hear that song! How is this possible? He said it to Bruce himself backstage.
@@user-kl8gp8yt4n Where did you get the information on Gallagher from? And is there a recording? I didn't find any on youtube...
Did Jack choose intentionally pentatonic-guitarists to his songs?? Clapton, Gary Moore, Clemson - all play the usual notes. Does anybody know a more interesting line up about these good songs?
Try this one: ruclips.net/video/LQzY-Q3uTWU/видео.html - okay, it's not a JB line-up, but wait, there's another one, with JB: ruclips.net/video/XeRmmWf7-mY/видео.html
@@bobbynoe1 tks!
If there really is something like a "pentatonic-guitarist", it's Clapton out of those three. Clem and Gary can leave the pentatonic scale behind if they want.
@@knust2329 I meant, with Cream, they did not leave the pentatonic. Gary could go out of the box.
Jó!
Thank you. Great stuff, but strike the keyboard
Gary moore was the greatest player on the live concert of b,b m.,he played circles around everyone and wailed better on the cream songs .
Clem is more of an esthete. Typical studio player. Gary was always full on.
Stratocasters have no place in that immortal music
Ridiculous
Song about Trump?
1968 Cream (song "Politician"):
"Hey now, baby / Get into my big black car / I want to just show you / What my politics are."
2016 Trump (election campain):
“When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the p*ssy. You can do anything.”
Hardly worth mentioning caught my attention.
You figure out why.
People need to stop being so tunnel visioned and ignorant and see and feel and learn.
What?
You mean huge left hand. Dog said hell no. I'm outta here
Smoking and drumming don’t go together well…lol.
Ginger perfected it..😉
@@anauticalgate5496 he could have three in his mouth it still was the best drumming in the world “
On a sad note (pun intended): Ginger's decades-long chain-smoking habit caused him to develop *severe* chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) that ravaged his lungs, causing him to suffer horribly during his later years. He probably struggled to breathe just moving about in his house.
😢
Very few images --photos or videos-- of Ginger without a cigarette between either his lips or fingers exist. The ubiquitous fag. Sadly, decades of chain smoking eventually exacted their terrible toll on his heart and lungs.
😢
That also worked with LSD ... lol.
Was Clapton too fucking busy to show up or what?
Mit Moore und Clempson waren bereits zwei bessere Gitarristen da.
