the pigman farm works amazingly, if your portal doesent light up, either your fire spread setting isn’t on, or u didn’t make it perfectly 23 blocks tall, or maybe the powdered snow is in the frame. And don’t worry, the trident won’t loose any durability. it works amazingly, tysm.
For the kelp xp farm chunk line correctly. And for the fish farm use a iron trapdoor for better experience and place a fish (live using a bucket) and it will increase the loot by a lot (I mean a lot)😊
@@by_Jamest does, I use a different but very easy fish farm fully afkable and gives exp,fish and treasure loot. You just need an auto clicker and set it to 800ms or 1 sec. If uou want I cant send you a video and you cant learn it and record it for everyone
@@Y_Ytpt Piglin will only come through the portal to the South, so you want to build your portal on the North side of the trap. Took me 20 minutes to realize what I did wrong lol

The Kelp farm does indeed properly work as I've tested but has to be built exactly on what James here has said, so if the farm isn't working then something on your build might be incorrect or you may need to move the farm as it could be crossing a chunk line which stops the machine from glitching the kelp properly
How can you tell if it crosses a chunk line without having a checker, can you use a website or a seed map or something? Or just keep moving it block by block
honestly it is about if you can get lucky with it, I also learned that the farm is able to function even if you cross a chunk line if you stay near the machine @@proctor8059
Depends on how many levels you already have but all I can say is it's not the most consistent with exp I'd say you get 2-7 levels every 20 mins or so @@Da77__
If sand keeps falling and kelp isn’t working then check if you’re on a chunk line, if you don’t know what that is then search it real quick… after that search chunkbase click it and put in your cords and your version and done!

@@channingcaudill6782 I think it had to do with the chunk border, I've tried it in creative mode before and it destroyed the kelps, after I tried it in survival it somehow works really well. So after that using an app for bedrock chunk checker I've confirmed it's all caused by the chunk.
PLEASE PIN THIS SO PEAPLE CAN SEE in my opinion the best xp farm is villagers. Once you’ve zombified and revived around ten villagers you can easily trade for stacks and stacks of emeralds using things like book shelves and books to trade infinitely. You can make so much xp just by trading with villagers it’s insane. It also doesn’t take an insanely long time to setup a villager trading hall, plus you can get op books and enchants from them
Tips, for new world, get a fletcher first, and reset his job until u get weakness arrow tip. So u dont need to go nether yet. Install the resource to see the possible trade. This will make u progress faster. You can use this weakness arrow to heal zombified villager. Another tips is, try to setup villager trader hall with iron golem farm together so u ll make better profit of it
@@brexy_2482 the video has it so the portal is the maximum size allowed. If your portal is one block too tall it won’t work, so it is possible that is what’s happening for you. I would double check your portal is 23 blocks tall

Alright, the kelp farm only work if you wait a long time, after collecting the xp you will need wait a another longtime, it doesn’t work like the old one where you could just stay in front and collect each cook kelp and gain big xp amounts at each kelp
Fantastic work James, thanks so much. I did a slight tweak to mine to get it to work better. Instead of having the hoppers run straight into the smokers, I have them run into barrels, then hoppers, then to the smokers

If you’re very new to redstone (like me lol) make sure to turn the kelp machine off when leaving the chunk or the sand underneath the smokers or the kelp can break and the machine won’t work. If you stay in the chunk or turn it off when leaving, it still works perfectly!
The piglin farm works amazing, but I suggest for anyone reading this to add a hopper system beneath it. Collecting the loot will give you so much gold and rotten flesh, I think I got a stack of gold blocks from just afking for an hour. Also, make sure to empty out the chests of swords every once a while. They fill up fast
Switch player here zombie piglin farm works like a charm was gonna go for the qaud but didn't have enough matierals but this works for such little materials was a bit of a nightmare to build in survival since I can't fly about but hey thanks for looking out for the bedrock community James

The higher level of xp you have, the less dramatic increase you'll see when collecting the stacks of dried kelp - is my guess. I extended the length of the machine to be eight kelp/smokers. I usually see around 3-4 levels when I empty the eight stacks.
tip on the piglin farm: the portal itself only has to be three blocks tall but the frame can be 5x23. dont know if this affects the piglin spawns but this works best for me
The furnace use to keep all xp in the furnace. So if 1+1=2 then no matter what you take out will always be two. After 100s of items pass through you get 20 levels per item. This was called xp duplication glitch and Microsoft nerfed it. So now you have to let a full double chest to smelt just to get 5-8 levels.
@@mrwiz124 none are easy but the quad piglin farm nets me 100 levels in 5 mins. It needs like 5 stacks of obsidian 8 observers 2 tridents and a shiite ton of blocks but it's worth it
What am I not understanding about the kelp farm? I’ve got it fully functional, but if I flip the levers to stop the hoppers from filtering to the chest, wouldn’t I need to collect from the smokers whenever it gets to 64 dried kelp to keep it from backing up?
I hate how long it takes to level up and how many levels it takes to upgrade my gear and absolutely hate how they keep patching quick ways to xp farm. They should either get rid of the need to use levels to upgrade gear or stop getting rid of ways to farm xp.
Hello, I have a problem with pigman farm 7:52. Whenever I start the pistons with the lever, the Redstone torches fall off the pistons... Do I have to make an adjustment on the server so that they stay on?
you guys can also make the piglin farm on the ground and it saves you a LOT of blocks, it works the same way except you dig down and make an area for the piglins to fall down, i recommend building up 3 blocks so you don’t have to dig super deep and fall into a cave
may i ask why the kelp farm will work fine for about 45 mins and then the sand breaks? i made sure i’m inside a chunk with a chunk texture pack and i’m not crossing over any lines… for the 45 mins it works it’s great but having to replace the sand all the time is gonna be pretty inefficient. some help would be much appreciated!

The kelp farm used to work, but they fixed the furnaces/smokers retaining the xp a few updates ago, I thought? Now you can only get the xp if you pull it directly from the smoker, I thought? Did they change it back?
If you have items flowing through a furnace it keeps the info on how much xp was added by that item, locking the hopper and taking an item will give you all xp
The pig men farm works amazingly as of 05/18/24 if built correctly. It takes a bit of time and resources to build, but it is more than worth it! Whoever is considering building it, I highly recommend you do.
So I don’t really resort to asking for help, but I already made this, it worked for a couple of hours, now it doesn’t want to work anymore, I destroyed and rebuilt the whole thing to help fix any bug or glitch, and it still doesn’t work, I rebuilt it in the same chunk I originally did
none of them worked at all, i built them exactly how they are here. the only difference i can come up with is that i was on superflat they just dont work for me. the kelp doesnt grow, the fish dont get caught, and no piglins come through the portal
Guys the kelp farm bug or whatever you wanna call it is fixed/removed like now you won't get that insane amount of XP anymore just by getting 1 item in your inventory

Sometimes if you leave the chunk or if you leave the machine on and leave the world, it’ll break. You should be able to just replace the sand and start again
Question: Can I download the chunk texture pack either via phone/xbox to effectively create the kelp farm or can I just go to a website and put in my world seed then look at the chunk borders they’re?
This is a noob problem for sure but when I get to the step in the kelp farm of filling with water, it leaks out of the piston level out the back. Is there a trick to where to place the water or does it matter what kind of stone I use. (using deep slate because I had a ton of it from mining.
I'm using bedrock on mobile. The piston in the kelp farm is blocking the water source when it's turned on, therefore stops the kelp from growing two blocks high. I need to turn on and off the lever to let the kelp grow. It's not as efficient as the video shows.
Couple of things could be happening. 1-make sure fire spreads setting is on 2-make sure the powder snow is not out and sitting in the portal frame. Snow dispenser switch should be off and snow inside dispenser.
Not working on Ps4 but I noticed the chest dupe method worked and then didn't work and then I lost all my stuff and had to revert to backup copy. I was doing this offline when it started failing to work but not sure if that's the issue. Also when it did work I didn't drown, just chest duped by closing app since it's not possible now to save game if you have a chest open like in the video. It's really touch and go and only works with 1 chest not a double chest if it works at all. It's like there's an AI watching even offline.
For the piglin farm, the xp always gets stuck at the back, is there something I am missing so i don't have to run around the back to get the xp? I cant stand in the corner or it will pick up the trident.
What I did was I built a thing underneath (there is also an automatic item sorter down there) and I filled my inventory with whatever so the trident doesn’t get picked up. I just afk down there
@@LAgSp1k3 I checked and it still works, piglins spawn from breaking and relighting the portal, make sure that this is happening, have fire spread on if the portal isn't relighting.
followed the piglin farm step by step, perfect height, facing the correct way, but it’s not spawning piglins. Is there anything I need to do in the nether? you weren’t clear on that
The only way to show chunk borders is to turn on your coordinates in the settings, and if the X or Z are divisible by 16 (chunkX / 16 = (whole number (not decimal))) you are a chunk border. Failing that use on online chunk finder by entering in your seed, it will give you the chunk layout. :)
Kelp farm works but levers don’t work and it doesn’t give me xp when I pull them (1.20 bedrock) Edit: it stopped working completely after awhile and now just breaks the kelp instead of multiplying it Edit 2: I fixed it, the sand in front of the pistons broke so if that happens to you, check that.

I have the mob grinder it’s so bad I wasted a stack of iron on pickaxes to get cobblestone you need 21 stacks of blocks for that farm

Auto kelp farms don't work nor does xp stacking
It happened to me too but I’m also not sure why it doesn’t work
SOMETIMES THE SAND FALLS INTO THE GAP UNDER THE PISTON MAKING THE MACHINE BREAK (break the sand under the piston and it’ll work again!)

Tip for pigman farm if you build it too close to your nether portal there’s a bunch of pigmen on the other side lol learned that the hard way

I used a Lectern instead of the Note Box for the fishing farm. Sometimes I want to fish and I did not want all that noise
NO WAY an Xp farm that WORKS in bedrock!!! I play with my friend in Java and those farms are fun. This one is too!
So when I made the kelp farm the kelp doesn’t produce how do I fix this?
The kelp farm used to work, but they fixed the furnaces/smokers retaining the xp a few updates ago, I thought? Now you can only get the xp if you pull it directly from the smoker, I thought? Did they change it back?
If you have items flowing through a furnace it keeps the info on how much xp was added by that item, locking the hopper and taking an item will give you all xp

Make sure you have fire spread turned on for the piglin farm, portal won't light without it
The pig men farm works amazingly as of 05/18/24 if built correctly. It takes a bit of time and resources to build, but it is more than worth it! Whoever is considering building it, I highly recommend you do.

OK but on mine no pigmen are coming through the portal
So I don’t really resort to asking for help, but I already made this, it worked for a couple of hours, now it doesn’t want to work anymore, I destroyed and rebuilt the whole thing to help fix any bug or glitch, and it still doesn’t work, I rebuilt it in the same chunk I originally did
none of them worked at all, i built them exactly how they are here. the only difference i can come up with is that i was on superflat
they just dont work for me. the kelp doesnt grow, the fish dont get caught, and no piglins come through the portal

My kelp farm is producing virtually no kelp. I waited 2 minecraft days (while keeping the chunk loaded) and got 26 kelp.
It is a zero tick farm if you use it correctly it will glitch kelp into existence. You’re just using it wrong bc I use it all the time

Guys the kelp farm bug or whatever you wanna call it is fixed/removed like now you won't get that insane amount of XP anymore just by getting 1 item in your inventory

If it randomly stopped generating kelp, check that the sand didn’t fall bellow in front of the pistons

Sometimes if you leave the chunk or if you leave the machine on and leave the world, it’ll break. You should be able to just replace the sand and start again

Question: Can I download the chunk texture pack either via phone/xbox to effectively create the kelp farm or can I just go to a website and put in my world seed then look at the chunk borders they’re?
You can on your phone I belive but not Xbox

@proctor8059 each chunk is 16x16 blocks so if you have coords turned on just divide your location by 16 to find your chunk borders on console/phone

The fishing one does not work for me
This is a noob problem for sure but when I get to the step in the kelp farm of filling with water, it leaks out of the piston level out the back. Is there a trick to where to place the water or does it matter what kind of stone I use. (using deep slate because I had a ton of it from mining.
I'm using bedrock on mobile. The piston in the kelp farm is blocking the water source when it's turned on, therefore stops the kelp from growing two blocks high. I need to turn on and off the lever to let the kelp grow. It's not as efficient as the video shows.

Couple of things could be happening.
1-make sure fire spreads setting is on
2-make sure the powder snow is not out and sitting in the portal frame. Snow dispenser switch should be off and snow inside dispenser.

Fish farm doesn't work at all. Rod just gets stuck, or it makes you click the note block
Not working on Ps4 but I noticed the chest dupe method worked and then didn't work and then I lost all my stuff and had to revert to backup copy. I was doing this offline when it started failing to work but not sure if that's the issue. Also when it did work I didn't drown, just chest duped by closing app since it's not possible now to save game if you have a chest open like in the video. It's really touch and go and only works with 1 chest not a double chest if it works at all. It's like there's an AI watching even offline.

Yes. Mine is 8 kelp wide. As long as you stay inside a single chunk's borders, it should work fine.
Do I have to build the pigman farm far away from any existing nether portals for it to work?

For the piglin farm, the xp always gets stuck at the back, is there something I am missing so i don't have to run around the back to get the xp? I cant stand in the corner or it will pick up the trident.
What I did was I built a thing underneath (there is also an automatic item sorter down there) and I filled my inventory with whatever so the trident doesn’t get picked up. I just afk down there

@@LAgSp1k3 I checked and it still works, piglins spawn from breaking and relighting the portal, make sure that this is happening, have fire spread on if the portal isn't relighting.
followed the piglin farm step by step, perfect height, facing the correct way, but it’s not spawning piglins. Is there anything I need to do in the nether? you weren’t clear on that
That's because the nether side does not matter at all. Check that your difficulty is hard and your portals are alternating between on and off.

What texture pack would you recommend to show chunk borders?? :)
The only way to show chunk borders is to turn on your coordinates in the settings, and if the X or Z are divisible by 16 (chunkX / 16 = (whole number (not decimal))) you are a chunk border. Failing that use on online chunk finder by entering in your seed, it will give you the chunk layout. :)

Kelp farm works but levers don’t work and it doesn’t give me xp when I pull them (1.20 bedrock)
Edit: it stopped working completely after awhile and now just breaks the kelp instead of multiplying it
Edit 2: I fixed it, the sand in front of the pistons broke so if that happens to you, check that.
It just breaks the kelp for me the sand is still there but the pistons break all the kelp not just the top parts
