- Labour’s Sadiq Khan has this afternoon comfortably won a historic third term as mayor of London.
Sadiq Khan opened his victory speech, saying: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you London.”
“It’s the honour of my life to serve the city that I love and I’m beyond humbled right now.”
Khan described facing “non-stop negativity” during his campaign, and says he has “answered fear-mongering with facts”.

I love London. Lived here most of my life. But people like Sadiq and those in positions of power and influence have systematically ruined it through so many agendas. It's now more expensive than ever to move around in London. To live. Crime and violence is high. A lot of jobs pay less than they do elsewhere. Litter is everywhere. The streets are overcrowded. Parks are neglected. Everywhere is a 20mph zone assuming you're even lucky enough to get up to speed in between all the road works. These are just a few minor things next to everything else. But don't worry, Khan is giving free school meals and forcing us all to stop driving. Everything will be fine. Everything will be Khan.
What just happened! outer Londoners affected by ulez had a chance to get him out and a person in who would have cancelled the ulez in outer London, but nooooooo.
