WOW! My husband has always been most attracted to the Andalusian breed of horse & now we learn his roots traveled through there on their journey to Mexico. How cool is our Father!

I see that verse in chapter 1 Obadiah verse 20 "B Sepharad"so Jews must had been in
Spain prior the common era, because the Prophet Obadiah lived before the common era.
This Rebbe is very interesting to listen to,he definitely knows his subject matter.

Andalusian is a germanic term. Al-Andalus is the land of the Vandals. The muslims used the term, recycling it after the victory over the visigoths..
    Interesting information. Greetings from Madrid!

Our faith in the Most High G-d was ingrained in us by the Creator of the Universe, Hashem Elohim, blessed is He. The Roman empire might have annihilated and massacred millions of our people through the past 3,000 years but they have not, or will not destroy the fact that G-d Almighty have given his word of power, His, power in keeping his remnant throughout the world, and his promise of the redemption of Israel, and the return of our people to him, is happening to-day. And no matter what the world do against us there will be a remnant who will fulfill the promised given to us in the prophecies of our Sages. B"H

Was a shame the Sephardies, didn't have an army to fight back expulsion, since the Peninsula was their land, since times of Pagan Rome, long before the Visigoths and christians.
They had right to stay there!.

The peninsula wasn't theirs. Did not belong to the Sephardics. Iberian tribes, Celtic tribes, the Phonecian/Carthaginians and Romans were there first. Only the Visigoth, Moors, and Gypsies came later on.

@@alexibarona5807 Ok, technically they came after the destruction of the Temple, with the Romans.
They belonged with the soil anyway and had right to stay.

Dr Gampel where did you get that from , by saying in the 10th century the Jews living in the Iberian Peninsula started seeing themselves as the Jew spoken of in Obadiah, I am from that bloodline my father ‘s name is Rodrigues and my mother Pereira, I must say we were always living there even before the Romans

The name of Andalucía have been expelled wrong in this blog. Andaluz came from the names of a race of horses characterized by the curvature of their necks the rounded figure of their bodies which is the Arabian horse, probably named by the Islamic people who came to Spain. Anadlusi Adj. of Arabigoandaluz related to al-Andalus.

Not the Arabic horse, more like the Berberiscos

There are several inaccurate statements, a. Jews didn’t have an army nor the had a political identity to support or be an alliance with Muslim state, b. They are under Islamic state protection thus they pay tax , so they don’t volunteer into the army, c. Jews and other faiths has experienced tolerance within Islamic society in it’s major cities, it wasn’t the case with the Jews experienced in Europe.

  • @benayahbendavidgavinrodrig1017

Of course we were very glad when the Muslims came , because we were being forced to eat every abominable thing and to worship the idols of the Catholics
