Can you explain why the Escape Pod on the ship is sold separately? It's part of the main hull on the ship in the movie. I can see the EVA vehicles sold separately, but the Pod? seems like a cash grab.
We appreciate your thoughts on this! The Prometheus model is designed to give you a high level of detail and customization, and the separate Class D Crew Escape Module allows us to cater to different preferences for collectors and creators. While it is indeed an important part of the ship's look, we wanted to offer it as an Add-On to provide flexibility for those who may want to display the ship in different ways. We value your feedback and hope you enjoy printing the USCSS Prometheus model and bringing it to life in your own style! 😉
@@Gambody_com Exactly what other options for that section of the ship are you referring to? In the movie, there were NO other configurations. And where is the link to this "Option"?
@@vd853 Thanks for your interest! The Class D Crew Escape Module Add-On will be available today, so you'll be able to get your hands on it in the next 6 hours. Stay tuned!
Thank you for your comment! We'd like to take a moment to explain the reasoning behind the detailed assembly of the Prometheus model. The model has been divided into convenient parts to ensure the cleanest 3D printing results, minimize filament usage for support structures, and take advantage of the active elements designed by our Gambody Engineers. This includes elements such as rotating engines, articulated radars, and extendable landing struts, all of which add to the dynamic capabilities of the model. The assembly parts are designed to fit within common printer build volumes, such as 220 x 220 x 240 mm (8.5 x 8.5 x 9.5 inches) for standard FFF/FDM printers, and 105 x 55 x 145 mm for DLP/SLA resin printers. In addition, all assembly parts in the FFF/FDM version are provided in STL files with recommended positions to ensure smooth detail surfaces after printing. This way, even 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on the build plate. As for the interior details, many of our customers enjoy customizing their prints and creating dioramas where the inside of the ship is just as important as the exterior. For example, the hypersleep chambers bay can be showcased with a removable roof hatch, and the retractable hangar allows you to park RT-01 Transport vehicles - it's all about adding a high level of detail and a personal touch! We hope this clarifies things for you, and please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or feedback.

The ship is literally hallow and incomplete without it.

Nice model, but way too many parts.
All the interior guff can be dispensed with as you will never see it.
