- In todays vlog, we are touring around Mystic Connecticut to see some Disney/ Harry Potter and DONUTS in Olde Mystik Village! Mystic is a village and census-designated place in Groton and Stonington, Connecticut, United States. Historically, Mystic was a significant Connecticut seaport with more than 600 ships built over 135 years starting in 1784. Mystic is a great place to visit especially in the fall as they have a lot of fun and unique shops, including the Cloak and Wand Harry Potter theme, the Alice in Wonderland theme shop, Christmas stores, cultural shops, and Deviant Donuts! Yes, we stop and do a donut review of course.

Mystic Cinema is the best movie theater in the area. Reclining leather seats that are heated. Beer, wine and food at the concessions stand and not super expensive. This is my go to movie theater.
Looks like a fun place Krystal! Yes, where they filmed Mystic Pizza! I actually live near where they filmed Runaway Bride also starring Julia Roberts. Cool, another donut review. lol They looked good. Also the honey out of the tree was interesting.

You know, I'm genuinely unsure that I've ever even spent a day in Connecticut - driving through or visiting - but I'm definitely sure that I've NOT been to Mystic! I didn't even know that this little town existed, let alone that it held so many treasures. The little movie theatre and the Harry Potter store were gems! How nice to be able to get something that's butterbeer-adjacent in the Northeast, even if it's not the exact UOR recipe. 😉 The 'sticky situation' shop with the tree pump was so cool too! And the Haunted Mansion-themed shop, OMG...who would have thought that such a small town would offer so many venues themed to my favorite IP's 😁 Will definitely have to visit here someday...thanks for putting it on the map for us!
I love CT! Especially in the fall its a nice break from the city. Mystic is such a hidden gem I love it!
Right up the road from that roadhouse is Pizzarama. Best pizza around by far
