Does it need an extra-large feather file to sharpen or can you use a Western saw file? If you ever file it, it would be a great thing to put up on video.
the teeth on them are gigantic, and they are not hard like joinery saws. The plates are also very thick at the toothline - 1.5 - 2x what we'd see in a disston rip saw - I think they're intended for wet wood, but the softness of the teeth makes them easier to file and less fragile. A cant saw file or a large knife edge file is necessary to file the entire tooth and prevent from changing geometry in a bad way.
Onsek to pretty much everybody else: “That’s not a saw. THIS is a saw.”
Good work out for Deltoids, Rhomdoids, Triceps, Letissimos Dorsi,Biceps, Abs and a few more i don't now the name of. Thumbs up onsek.
I'd love to see you make some boards

I bet THAT took a lot of work!
I think Onsek does the job as a skilled worker did 600 years ago. Many others (me included) just try.
you have a lot of stamina
About how long did it take you to get through that?
1,5 hour
