Loner legs gives you more potential for top speed because you have a naturally long stride length which can also be improved as well as stride rate an example would be usain bolt. People with shorter legs rely on stride rate which has a shorter ceiling than tried length. Legs can move so fast before they break setting a ceiling. Because of this those with shorter legs need to improve stride length which is harder because of shorter legs giving them a smaller ceiling. Hope this makes a little sense
Just imagine a athlete with short legs has a LIGHTNING start, and with a mind bobling TOP END speed. The more he gets near finish line, GETS MORE FASTER AND FASTER. Just imagine
Here's a question in relation to leg length; are longer legs suited more to roundhouse kicks, and shorter legs better for push kicks? I have really short legs and my roundhouse kicks are ok, but my push/side kicks are able to ko a camel I feel. I'm guessing that longer legs suit the roundhouse kick better due to higher velocity and momentum due to the longer lever arm, and shorter legs for kicks such as push/sidekicks as they may have a faster snapping motion due to a shorter distance traveled; would this be right? Or am I cooked?
I would say you are right and the concept is similar.. The longer levers deliver more power but usually take more time while shorter levels develop power fast. So really it’s the ability to generate power quickly you should use to your advantage in the push kicks as well as round house..
what type of sprinter do you think I'll be as an adult if I train in terms of size because I'm 5"11 at 14 I want like a guess if I will be a short or long sprinter, thanks
Well it depends on your acceleration and leg length, can you max out your top speed on 100m or do you need a Lil more space to reach your full potential.

We can imagine all that we want but the technique has to justify the claim..
Amazing video man you’re a legend

Do whatever u want bro it doesn’t rlly matter as long as you are happy

I am 5'5 and have long torso and short legs, I noticed that I am slow runner than people who have longer legs😅
Yes you must focus on improving your acceleration.
may i know what's your leg length? i'm 5'5 too and have a 29" leg, but i don't know is that short or long
I don't believe in all these shits.
I take it your short
Sorry it’s true
