I'm going to use your method today as I build my first set of boards. Thank you!

My question is how did you use a 12-inch block for height? You put the block under the board, and the height has to be 12 inches to the top of the board on the back. I like the method, but don't see how the boards would be the right height. Please answer as I would like to try your method to save myself some time, thanks.

I’d say on this scenario I should have used a block that was 11.5”. The top was 1/2”, so technically the way I did it, the board would have been 12.5” off the ground.
I simply put the block in from the bottom of the table to inside the banding, resting at the top back of the board.

What angles are the legs cut at

I do not have a way to get my ends perfectly round. I traces the circle then cut 45 degree off and sanded the rest. Will it be functional? I do not need it perfect

    • @owlsnestsolutions9082

No, it doesn’t need to be perfect. You just need it to not hit the bottom side of the top. When you rotate it around, it may catch the top as you put the leg out.

How long are the legs before you cut the angle?

What size bolt did you use?

4" 3/8s carriage bolts work great.

I’m pretty sure that’s what I used. 3/8 has plenty of strength for this project.

Why not just cut your cross support to the correct length and attach it to both legs ? It’s just a corn hole board!
