It was always on my mind after seeing your old video showing how you customized yours. However, I much rather have a pen loop in mine because I'm missing a loop in my passport TN. Would you consider offering that customization service 😅 for a price, of course. If not, I may have to go back and rewatch that video to see if I can get the tools and leather needed. Edit: You don’t actually have a video showing how you customized adding a leather pen loop to your plastic folders. I thought you did 😅 can that be something you could share in the future? Also, love the colors you have in your paint palette! What tubes of paint (and brushes) do you prefer using? I may cave and get the folio kit in the future!

Hey Job, I know you’ve touched on this previously but I wanted to give you a video idea that I think a lot of us stationers could appreciate. How to deal with having so many options in our collections. I have many covers and notebooks and I get paralysis sometimes when it comes to picking what to do with them all and I feel the need to use all of them. I am new to having this many choices so I wonder if it’s something that gets easier over time. Anyway just an idea!

If you're sad the bear is holding a salmon, you shouldn't be. When salmon spawn, they are also at the end of their lives. So they're dying naturally. They feed the bears, wolves, foxes, and people before they go. It's actually the most humane way of fishing possible. The salmon are done eating, so you cannot bait them. They lay their eggs and pass on from this world. So no need to feel badly. It's beautiful how they feed so many at the end.
Since they're done eating and they are passing away, the further upstream they go the more their body condition worsens. So when they're caught further inland you can't eat them anymore but they can feed mushing dogs. Many mushing dogs have salmon as a large part of their diet year round and that's why they are in such good condition and such good athletes.
Job I love your vlogs, but you lost me when you said you have a horse hair covered journal. I can understand other animals that are used for their products in other ways for people, but I don’t think horses offer up anything else. I would hate to see a market go after horses just so they can make a journal cover or a bag. Sorry.. might want to rethink the horse hair journal cover.

But, you might have that one nice pen for years while your cheap Walmart pen has to be replaced how many times? Buying something you really want isn’t consumerism. Buying one in every color? That might be a problem.

I may carry this mindset with me whenever I can make money (currently disabled but will start training for a job that can meet my needs).
