No, its not worth upgrading from older models like 13 and 14. It's worth upgrading from 11 and 12. We waste so much and consume so much shit that we don't need. You don't need a 16 when you have a 14, it's been only 2 years. Stop wasting, just replace the battery and wait at least one more year please.
I wait 5-7 years to upgrade. Although I just bought 3 new phones. Two of them the same android, one as a back up. I also have a 15 pro. I won't buy again for minimum 5 years. I wait for models that will last very long before purchasing and get case protection and take care of them like new whole life then re sell to another person later on. I still have my previous phone it works fine for light use but gets bogged down with many apps. I will still use it as an alarm clock or for other task it is capable of handling. I do not waste.

It's them making operating systems have more features and options, a big one is security patches and what else not... This in return makes your phone slow down over time. Not to mention batteries are just impossible to keep good for long periods of time. I have an S23 Ultra and battery is nowhere near as good as the first week I got the phone. Tech gets obsolete over time and tech companies don't need to do much for you to want to upgrade.

(just remember the first Samsung with 5G and 120Hz jumped from $749 to $999, and now they are already at $1299, Apple did not raised their price since 2017 (the 6" iPhone X was $999 in 2017 and the also 6" iPhone 15 Pro still $999 in 2023, the $100 extra on iPhone 15 Pro Max is basically just because of the removed 128GB model, even the 256GB iPhone 11 Pro Max also started with this price..). So Apple secrifice their phone renevue for 7 years just to get more users, they will not ruin that now.. even if it cost them more, if they keep their price their sales will be good, because basically they become almost the cheapest flagship phone.. and the extra amount of users will generate more renevue on services like Apple music.. so their total renevue still not ruined, and their competitors can't keep up the race with cheapness, because they will not get $10/months from half of their users for example..

I’m using a 15 PM, so I’ll be getting another phone in 3 years. The 15 is very fast and has everything I need, however I like seeing how the technology advances, so let’s hope for the best
I don’t see why you would upgrade in 3 years. As a 15P user I don’t think it’s necessary to do that as apple usually supports models with at least 6-8 years of OS/security updates
We need a bigger iPhone pro max! It’s just too small. I constantly get issues with the size of my fingers, trying to navigate the screen. My hands aren’t crazy giant hands. We need a bigger screen. Like the old larger iphone back in the day.

i am an apple fan, just for trying moved to s24 ultra for a couple of years, i like the small cutout and high res even in bright day light i am able to clearly see each app and text, like the ai features and camera
however i like iphone so much that i might switch back after a couple of years 😊
ngl i don't like that "capture button". people might disagree but it just looks weird and not really ergonomically suitable for the phone. you already have a capture button - use the volume up or down button or... use the capture button on the camera itself.
i'd rather just get the iphone 15 pro max since you're not really missing out on anything if you want to get the new apple iphone 16 pro max.

That button is for pro photographers and videographers, it will simulate a professional dslr or mirrorless, that's why it needs to be a separate button for this feature, bc it will need to respond to pressure, if you were a photographer you would knew

I have my 12pro max that I owned for 4 years… until I dropped it (by missing my inside jacket pocket) onto the asphalt, shattering both front and back 😢. I needed a phone replacement asap as I was teleworking that week, ended up getting a 15 pro max. Honestly, I’ve always preferred the even number iPhones - and I’ve owned them all, since the 3GS. I’ll probably dump the 15 for a 16 (back to the Happy EVEN number) pro max when it comes out.
I'm on a 13 now and the Pro with its small increase in size will be my next phone ... if the price is right and after the hype dies down.

Finally decided to purchase my first iphone, (iphone 15 plus) but got to know it doesn't provide the split screen function and clipboard) I mean why?! There is no period in the keyboard in the front. I mean seriously?! I do a lot of typing work on my phone. Now I can't decide whether I should go with Samsung S24 Ultra or wait for iPhone 16 plus with iOS 18 update. I love the customisation function and I really want it, but I always wanted to buy an Iphone for so many years but it lacks in functionality. On the other hand, I can't trust androids that they will perform same over the years after updates. I can't think frequently changing my phone after 2/3 years. And earlier with Samsung phones I faced the "storage full" issue without containing much items. Never faced this issue with other androids. I am so confused right now.

i had s24 plus and 15 pro max and let me tell you iphone 15 pro max is far superior device and yes i understand there is many cool stuffs on s24 series that iphone doesnt have but i prefer iphone alot more for daily basis its well optimized for almost everythning and iff iphone 16 pro max will be 20% more expensive then more reason to go with 15pro max you wont regret

@@zappsoimilk I was actually taking about the plus phone not pro max. You see in my country I will be able to get 15 plus at 115,000 tk and Samsung s24 ultra at 120,000-122,000 tk. But the pro max will cost 150,000-158,000tk. So there is a major price gap, and I'm not ready to invest that much amount right now, as a student. I really want the iPhone but there is so much functionality gap where s24 ultra is better deal considering price but I don't trust androids that they will not mess after 2/3 updates. I also don't intend to buy another Phn within 3 years.

I’ve rocked both the best Android and iPhone for a few years. I love the S24, the display is just insane. However, my work has me deep into the Apple ecosystem including a MacBook Pro. Windows, Android is just not as seamless like Apple products. Handoff, AirDrop, FaceTime is just ok powerful to leave so therefore I’ve sold all my Samsung stuff. I’m not sold on the 16 Pro Max since there isn’t much change on the hardware other than cameras. As for A.I. Apple will bundle it to all capable iPhones through software.

Samsung still rules in telephoto. I've an iPhone 15 Pro Max. But my old Galaxy s21 Ultra is great for my daughter on stage in her chorus, foxes and owls in the woods behind our house, the Moon, the eclipse, etc. Yes, a 48mp sensor on the 16 Pro Max could equalize with Samsung!

Not having 8K video recording is the main problem with iPhone, so if you want to record 8K video you need to get Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. So iPhone 16 is not a current smartphone in this regard. iPhone 13 is still quite remarkable in that it offers 95% what these few latest generations have. AI might be attractive, but for the most part it is a gimmick in my opinion.
A game changer would be bringing back the mini. Some of us. Have lives. Our phones don't need to be phablets.
