The coat is beautiful! I don't have a lot of time to watch a full-length, real-time tutorial, but I can see it would be very helpful for absolute beginners. Thank you very much for these patterns 😊
I’m always so happy to see a new episode pop up and your content never seems to disappoint. I found myself in tears laughing along with you. Such fun. Your sweaters for Rhinebeck will be wonderful. I can’t wait to hear all about your weekend.
I'm recovering from a total knee replacement & happened across your podcast. Can't tell you how entertaining & very comforting your knit/book/life/friendship talk is while recuperating! It's like my hospital bed was transported to a mist delightful kibbutzing "stitch & butch" meeting! I also knit, read & watch TV. This episode you mentioned watching the Discovery of Witches Netflix series. Did you know tge series is based on a trilogy of books by Deborah Harkness? It is one of my most favorite book series. The made for TV looses quite a bit of detail, so I highly recommend you get the books! Esp if Magical realism is your favorite genre (like me)! TY all for keeping me company!
Thanks for the information about the show, I did know it was a book series, wish I had known before I watched it all. Thanks for watching the podcast - glad you stumbled upon us. Speedy recovery!!
You girls are just so much fun!! LOVED all the laughter and I laughed right along with you!! Girlfriends are the best but girlfriends that knit together are everything. Thank you for a truly enjoyable podcast.
Your sweaters are nice but the best part for me was this quote: "Maybe I'm chipped, I don't know. But I'm fine with it because I got these." (Sophia referring to her bed sheet bands) 🤣😂🤣😂 I almost peed!! Like Elissa's teenage self in the haunted house!! (and maybe Laurie reading the names of her new yarns!! 😝) Looking forward to seeing you all at Rhinebeck!! It's been too long!!! -Kate
I was so happy to see a podcast pop up ! I was sitting in a hotel room on a business trip and laughing so loud at the names of those colorways ... too funny Laurie! I'm really planning a trip to Rhinebeck for next year so I can fan girl live with you all . Please post pictures or Reels of you adventures.
I almost spit my tea out when you all started laughing - I had just taken a sip. Elissa - you will love that fingering weight sweater when it’s done. I hesitated knitting fingering for years because it takes so long. But I realized that I love wearing lightweight sweaters so much more than bulky sweaters so now I knit mostly fingering and sport weight. Just put some silicone cords in the sleeves for Rhinebeck and call it good!
Thank you for another fun episode! I always love it when you ladies appear! Your banter is so much fun! You also inspire me to get going on my knitting projects! Have a fabulous time at Rhinebeck! I made a Poppy Tee as my Rhinebeck sweater even though I’m not going. I’m at least going to be there in spirit! 😊
Those blue sweaters…lovely!! Your laughing is contagious, I found myself laughing along with you 😂😂 All the Colors of the Dark: one of my favorite books this year!!
Awe, you guys! THIS video is one of the Rhinebeck season videos I most look forward to...Your coordinated sweaters! I always love seeing each of your unique pattern choices. I also love all of the ones you are wearing in this episode. You all look amazing. I never get to Rhinebeck but I do MDS&W so if any/all of you get to Maryland in May, please keep us posted so I can try to meet you. I could watch you ladies all day. Thanks for the great episode as I finish up the body of my Sheep Camp Sweater! XOXO, from Virginia! ~Dianne
So much joy and laughter today! Please don't ever edit out those moments. I was crying with laughter, it felt so good! Have a great trip to Rhinebeck and I also want to mention Flock Fiber Festival in Seattle where there in no Sweater Pressure (wink wink)
What a wonderful Sunday morning it was to spend with the four of you! I live in SW Fl waiting for the new hurricane to hit us which we have no control over on how it is going to impact us! Hopefully I will be able to watch all of you at Rhinebeck. I just want all of U to know that U r missed by me!
Was so excited to see a new episode… you always make me smile 😊 your Rhinebeck sweaters are all beautiful…good luck in finishing them. Our group won’t be able to go to any Friday events because we won’t be arriving until Friday afternoon. We are staying at a historic church in Saugerties…looks really cool. Can’t wait to see you all again on “the hill”….happy knitting! 🧶
So happy to see another episode! I hope I get to see your Rhinebeck sweaters at Rhinebeck. I’m working on mine as I am watching you! The laughter was so good! As always, I find inspiration with your knits!
Always a delight when you podcast. Love the sweaters you have made and are making. You thanks for all the laughs and insight into Rhinebeck et al weekend.
I won’t un-subscribe!!😉. Always enjoy you girls, - my New England fix, (Ma/retired to SC) - new knitter, you all are an inspiration. Enjoy your New York// Rhine beck festival
Sophia, I love your version of the Autumn Alpine. Would you please share on which episode you discussed it. Can’t find it on your Ravelry projects page. Thank you!!
Glad you girls were here, hope you continue. I had a lot of laughs watching this podcast. Sophia - A Perfect Marriage is also a movie on Netflix I did watch it, so unexpected. Looking forward to your next podcast whenever that might be.
I just had that book delivered to me yesterday! I’ve heard really good things about it. I love when you are girls are back . I will look forward to hearing about Rhinebeck! I really liked American Dirt…it was eye opening. I have Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, but haven’t read it. Matthew Perry’s book was so depressing, but I listened to it. Freida McFadden books are excellent, easy to read, and keeps you engaged. I’ve read them all except the latest. I enjoy watching, High Potential, and Murder in a Small Town.
Love the episode… all the sweaters are great…. ‘Siri”, she is a mad women , I accidentally called her “Alexa” and she was rude responding “ wrong program” and the next day while a friend and I were driving to PEI fibre Festival, out of the blue she had my mapping reroute…. Tried to send me down a dark dirt road, (psycho movie thoughts 🔪🔪🔪)totally away from the Festival, she was messing with me._ lol…..
Hi Becky! I put links for what everyone is wearing in the description box in case you missed it in the podcast. Sophia is wearing Autumn Alpine, Laurie is wearing Gr8 Gingham Raglan, and Elissa is wearing Barnes. :)
Im so sorry, but I can’t follow your podcast. I’m not a native speaker and you all talking or more like shouting at the same time makes it very difficult to understand. Wish you all the best for rhinebeck and happy knitting
Completely understandable. We often get so excited when we podcast and tend to talk over each other. We appreciate you giving us a listen and hope we can do better :)

All the Colors of the Dark - so good!!!!❤📕📚
I am slow reading it, but am thoroughly enjoying it!
blue or black ballet flat with those speckle pants and the blue fisher sweater, even a mini white neck scarf too would be oh la la
Love these Ladies and their podcasts👌💝🙏
Y'all are having way too much fun! Love it!!
You had me in stitches with the names of the Rowan yarn 😂😂
Hello Beautiful Ladies, from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤❤❤
Sophia, I love your version of the Autumn Alpine. Would you please share on which episode you discussed it. Can’t find it on your Ravelry projects page. Thank you!!
Thank you for the laugh. I really needed that.
Can’t wait to watch!
What a pretty Henley, love the color.

Glad you girls were here, hope you continue. I had a lot of laughs watching this podcast. Sophia - A Perfect Marriage is also a movie on Netflix I did watch it, so unexpected. Looking forward to your next podcast whenever that might be.
so lovely to see you. iI laughed so much and Idon't even know what the funny thing was eith the name. Gorgeous knits.
Alyssa your sweater is beautiful
If you go to Salem, there is a yarn store. It’s called Circle of Stitches. It’s close to all the happenings. Enjoy!
We made it to Salem but did not make it to Circle of Stitches. I would definitely like to go again for longer and will have to stop into that store!
Hope to see you at Rhinebeck, ladies. Hugs from Deep South Texas. ❤
Yes, hope to see you!!
A new knitter may find it easier to knit a few rows flat before joining in the round. It definitely helps not twisting the cast on.
That’s what I do
Couldn’t agree more.
Love the sweaters! And Sophia with the bulky yarn, you might check out the Arika cowl. I wear mine all the time and was a fun knit!
Lori love your sweater
Just FYI, I searched Libby for The Perfect Marriage, and there were two titles…I believe the one Sophia recommended is by Jeneva Rose

Yay!
I did not know about Woolen Affair!! But I hope to meet you at Indie Untangled! I can"t wait, this is my first knitting event!!!
You’re going to have so much fun!
Have fun at Rhinebeck let us know the tea lol
Sophia, what yarn did you use for your Alpine Autumn? It’s quite beautiful.
Sophia, have your daughter work the first row or two flat before joining, then she can see the work and helps to not twist it.
Sophia, what yarn did you use for the colorwork section of your Autumn Alpine?
The discovery of witches is awesome but the books are better😊😊
OMG!
Get yards just move numbers. So 212 meters= 212 + 21= 233 yards. 89 meters = 89 + 8 is 97 yards. 130 meters is 130 + 13 = 143 yds
Yes. There are about 10% more yards than meters so moving the decimal point and adding is a great tip.
Love the episode… all the sweaters are great…. ‘Siri”, she is a mad women , I accidentally called her “Alexa” and she was rude responding “ wrong program” and the next day while a friend and I were driving to PEI fibre Festival, out of the blue she had my mapping reroute…. 😂
Where are you all from. Just wondering because you said Portland.
We’re from CT. East of the river
I’m cracking up and I have myearpods in and now my husband is wondering what the heck is going on
🤣🤣😅😅❤️❤️
I knit 1 round and then join in the round
What are you wearing? 😊
