Another great review. Thanks Jackson and the WT team. I almost still wish that these had rubber on the bottom for durability but I know that they work really well as just the foam to court implementation.
For the longest time. I really wanted to buy and try curry’s shoes. But what holds me back is the pricing here in Ph. It’s so expensive. I can buy nike products for about30-50% discount.
How much is it in the Phils bro? I just ordered one (online) and it was $200 Canadian - the sour patch kids edition. It's sold out everywhere in-store over here. Can't wait to play in these bad boys cause I hear the traction is insane.
These look very smooth, disappointed UA haven't yet found a way to add some color to the Flow tech yet however., its still the main thing holding them back.
Cushioning is the dividing line when it comes to Curry flow shoes. If it's okay for you then I can see how the shoe might be one of the best. However, from my experiences the cushioning on the 8 and 9 is lackluster to say the least and impact protection was sub-standard. I'm 5'11" and weigh 170 pounds.
If you're having trouble with cushioning at that height and weight, there's something substantially wrong or misfunctioning in your body chain. This is not a diss or anything, you just have to understand that the more cushioned a shoe is, the more prone you are to actually walk incorrect and put more stress on your ligaments & tendons. Think about why in the 90s with rock bottom shoes basketballs most common injury was rolling an ankle. It was crazy rare that someone tore his ACLs, patella or achilles back in the day. This is mainly due to too much pillow walk where your muscles misfunction and dont know where in space you are while moving, jumping, landing. Talk to physios about this cause without knowing you I'd estimate you have hip, knee or ankle issues. Or some sort of chronic ligament inflammation that ultimately leads to strains & tears. A lot of cushion is okay for a 2 meter giant with tons of weight. For him that shoe feels totally different than for you. For a guard of your size (normally) court feel is all you want and need, because your jumps and landings have way less impact. But as said, there's something off in the chain, which is why you'll demand softer and softer shoes. Whatever, comment getting too long and scientific
I agree. I usually try to get 2 pairs of the Curry's per season and I don't train in them everyday...I'm using the Why not Zero.5, Kybrid S2 and UA Lockdown 6 the past 2-3 weeks. My school is sponsored by UA so I get a pair of team curry's every season. This year I have another Curry 9 for my team shoe. Last season I played in a team curry 8, and picked up 2 pairs of the "for the W" Curry 9's for summer season.. I was wearing my Curry 10's on court today for a training. I have the SourPatch CW and use a VK gold in all my hoop shoes. Fit/heel lockdown is the best improvement I see in the 10... I'll still be alternating the 9's with the 10 and then sometime in 2023 when a dope CW comes out I'll get my extra pair of the 10's. Such a great performer. My school got me into the Flow tech with a Curry 8 (I was wearing multiple pairs of the Kybrid S2, Ky 7 and Zion 1 prior)...since then I've purchased 3 pairs of Currys to hoop in usually never wear anything else for games.
Hey, have you ever switched out curry 10 midsoles? If so, any recommendations? I’ve had a pair for about five months and I’m tearing through the midsole (but the rest of the shoe is holding up great).. I’d love to prolong their life and also keep my feet and legs healthy (with as much as I play). Thanks!!
Another great review. As much as I want to like these, Flow is too much for me. The bite (traction) actually bothers my feet/ankles to the point I'm thinking about it while playing.
@@Th3Machine24 linoleum is an interesting surface to play on so I could see these being a little slick on those. My experience has been a really hard bite on clean wood floors and a lot of sliding on dusty
I’m from India and I really really want to get a pair of Curry’s but there aren’t many indoor courts available to play in as outdoor courts are more prominent here.
Try some Chinese brands like Lining(Way of Wade especially) & maybe Anta. There are shoes are built for outdoor courts, but still try finding a model that suits your outdoor needs and budget.
I copped the curry 8s a year and a half ago and they felt like a glove on my feet and played phenomenally but unfortunately a section of the outsole tore and I had to stop playing in them after about 3 months🤦🏾♂️ hopefully the same won’t happen if I buy these curry 10s🙏🏾
Hello, I’m a bit curious? Anyone can give their own opinion Can you wear Curry X's for Casual wear? Or would it be prone to degrade faster? I've known that you can only wear Curry Flow Tech Foam Indoors if you want it to last longer than using it in outdoor courts, however, would that be the same effect if you use it for your casual walks and pair it with your casual look?
Full circle moment watching shoe reviews to make sure I get the most bang for my buck. They told me I’d be more conscious of these things once I had to spend my own money😢😂
If the flow is the same as the first intro in the 8 then outdoors 3 days a week 2-3 hours at a time for 1 month will destroy the outsole easily. This is on the sandpaper tennis court floors
Hi Jackson, I have a couple of questions regarding curry 10. I just received luka 1 and I was wondering if you tested these. I just try it on and I am worried about the cushion formula 23. I’m shifty player and traction and a court feel is the most important for me which seems to be ok in luka 1. But I am thinking to switch it to curry 10 or curry 1 flowtro as I have never played in UA. My only concern is durability. As you told on the water testers I started to wear off. Could you tell me how does it hold up after couple of months. Does the foam still grips if the traction pattern worn down a bit or it started to slide around?
Another great review. Thanks Jackson and the WT team. I almost still wish that these had rubber on the bottom for durability but I know that they work really well as just the foam to court implementation.
Love the way flow performs, colorways and aesthetics are holding back curry line

Same thought, but nah, still gonna buy those at sport central or in MOA if needed

Curry 8 cushion was much better for some reason than what the 9 had even though it's both flow .

I just bought the Curry 10 SPK and I can’t wait to play in them. The Curry 9s were my first curry shoes and I loved them.
Have you played in them yet.. some people say you slip and slide on dusty court
Very comprehensive review - thanks. Please can you provide the name of the other shoe you recommend at the 6.01 mark? Thank you
Well done Jackson!

Do a review on the wade 808 2 normal ones and ultra ones
that one’s next
Any image for your outsole after a weeks of playing with curry 10?

Its not recommended on outside courts. You're better off with xdr outsoles.
You like the Curry Flow 10 better than the Lebron 20? Because, as you said, the Lebron 20 has better cushion.
Does anyone have them for a lot of time? Can they tell me if the outsole is ok?
Dude when do you think we're going to get a great outdoor shoe it's a wierd thing to not do

Is the curry 10, good for flat feet?? I am still looking for a good shoe for flat feet 😭
yea
Will surely get a pair
I see the two wxy v3 in the background. Have you played in those??
yup - they’re one of my favorites right now
First, and great video
Flow just does not cut it on a dusty court idk what he saying maybe he just plays at an above average court even though he calls is “dusty”
Thanks for pointing that out… because I’ve heard they suck on a dusty court … and I need good grip because I like to move quick
Bro can you tell me if the outsole is ok after many months of having them? Im thinking of buying them
Thanks
Curry 9 and 10 are not the same? and in the traction?
looking for curry 11 performance reveiew pleasseee
how's the sizing?
Been waiting for a curry which the flow outsole is not white but on another colorway. Almost all my shoes's soles are white so it's time for a change
The running shoes have a black version of flow foam now so hopefully curry will have it soon too.
I'm jackson spelled with a ck, are you spelled with an x or ck or other?
is this true to size
Yes 100 percent I watched other videos and they said it is true to size
Do you miss the ankle sock from the 8s?
All 3 shoes are the same thing come on it's been the same thing for years the upper and lower part of the shoes is the same.

The only downside about this shoe is availability. The 9s and 10s are impossible to find.
Where? Online u can easily get the 10. And the team 9s are at Dicks … try Hibbert Shoes
Have you bought them? Is the outsole ok after many months lf having them?
