I feel like valk is a good kang replacement here. Handles Shuri decks much better, they feel too safe with a 30 power red skull in armor lane 😂 Synergism’s well with cage as well, can’t drop Mary or lizard
I have valk and really want to use her exactly for this (instead of just living in Cerebro-3 world) ... but i feel like at least half the time it's a cosmo instead of an armor so not sure it's worth for that specific purpose :/
I'm glad I finished my push to infinite with this deck (without Kang ofc) before all the Snap youtubers began covering it. It's a great deck, ton of possibilities and ton of control with very strong power swings. Just avoid Leech and you're good to go.
@@syndix The only differences in the version I played is no Kang and no Scarlet Witch and instead of them I played Nova and Absorbing Man. There are tons of possible replacements though - Green Goblin, for example, works well, especially against Galactus decks.

I only just got my galactus as well, so I was kind of hoping it wouldn't end up being a required card, as I didn't want to have to spend 6k on kang just yet. still going to get thanos first, and then maybe will get kang as well this month, as tokens are abundant due to them being back in bundles again.

Good against Thanos in some cases, but how does this counter any Shuri decks? Shang-Chi isn't enough and replacing Aero with Kang saves you onle cubes on retreats. People will start to look through Kang in no time.
Killmonger is objectively bad in here since 1-costs are ideal targets for Hazmat. I don't get what Enchantress is trying to target in this meta either, this deck is way better with Wong+Absorbing Man. Edit: Also Kang shouldn't un-snap, some of those retreats were criminal.

So I'm attempting to run this with Invisible Woman instead of Zabu (and Nova instead of Kang obviously). Thoughts? It just allows you to play luke cage and hazmat earlier if that's your draw (kinda mitigating the Zabu loss?) as well as increasing the chance their whole board is hit by hazmat. Side benefit to Maximus - stopping them from drawing til the game's over - and Killmonger - ensuring an end of game board wipe. And the main reason - got the ArtGerm Invisible Woman variant, lol.
Shang chi and enchantress are both situacional, so i dont see the use in adding zabu... There are games when you can only play TM so... Maybe add another 4 cost like Wong, for SW ig
Unrelated but I never actually comment Im just here to say that I started playing like 3 months ago but I struggled with getting interesting/complex cards but lately I assembled most of Series 3 and I unlocked Shuri Zero and I'm here to say that this deck is just too absurd, like too absurd I was hovering around gold for weeks and then got infinite in 4 days of playing the deck.
Interesting you ran into a lot of patriots because I have been a lot today. Hopefully the meta is pretty nice rn obviously some decks are better than others but that’s just how it goes, but generally at least for me I see a different batch of decks every day
Wong+Absorbing Man should 100% be in this deck if you've got them. You could even do a Wong/Mystique variation with Ironheart in case you miss your Hazmat/Cage combo. It's a combo deck so it gets butchered by almost any tech card though, so assume weird snaps are people about to Cosmo you and just retreat when it's questionable.
As someone who played a lot of Hazmat Wong decks I can't help but feel underwhelmed by this deck.. I mean I'm sure it's effective. It's just that the fun part o Hazmat is making your opponent go -25 on every lane. Just -4 isn't a guarantee of a win and it's always scary close to the point where it could've gone both ways.
So you mean like a non combo oriented style match. That’s how most matches go when your playing a control deck. Give each card -1, -2, or -3 , -4 with absorbing man is way more effective than you’d expect

If the opponent is playing anything high powered (which is like 99% of the decks in the game) -4 on each lane won't be enough. You might even end up losing against Zoo decks, which in theory would be a great match up for Hazmat but it's effect alone is just not good enough. Especially when you consider the fact that you also have to play a 2-1 card to negate the effect on yourself.
@@Rob0_ Well I wouldn't. lmao It's one of the decks I win with the most. At least in my rank, 65-70. And to be honest it depends. Does retreating counts as winning or losing? Because with this deck from the video you'll be retreating a lot when you realize -4 (or even less) won't beat most decks.
Way to many "close calls" to be a deck that redefines anything, also this deck requires Rank 100 strategic thinking, not rank 60 "Just play cards and pray".
You just can't go wrong with Luke Cage and Hazmat, simple concept and very fun to play. Still waiting for that Luke cage variant to pop in my shop.
Luke cage/hazmat is basically a cheaper blue marvel and you can sprinkle it in to any deck and play it early or late.
that cage variant might be one of my favourite variants in the game
I tested this after watching, using nova instead of kang as I don't have him, damn is it good. I have a sera deck I was running, I love this one.
This deck (with Nova instead of Kang) is what took me from 90-100 when I was facing almost exclusively Leech/Thanos - can't recommend it enough!
