That machine is a postage metering machine for outgoing mail. My job uses Pitney Bowes for sending out our large volumes of mail. The postage machines will apply the “stamp” directly on the envelopes so USPS can deliver, and then Pitney will provide one invoice for the total cost of all our “stamps” used in a month
That old rotor phone looks a lot like the one we had when I was a little girl. That was interesting what you're wife found out about that box. Stay Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕
This was so much fun to watch live. That sign was so cool. I lived getting to see your part of the day and all your finds. This is the kinda spell I want put on me... I love it! Another great day with some killer finds!
7:49. I have not seen one of the in a very long time, More than a minute! It looks like a machine a company I used to buy from would post the invoices... After writing the invoice, the clerk would pull the handle on the side and the 3 part form would spew out the back, and they would hand me my copy to pay the bill!
The thing with the crank on the side is for writing up work orders , you write up the work order then you rip off the top copy put it with the thing to be repaired the yellow copy goes to the owner and the pink copy gets advanced in the machine when you crank the handle .... it goes back to the 60 or 70's . Our mechanic uses one
Yes, it is Uarco. My wife worked at the Uarco in Watseka, IL in the early 1990's and they produced multi-page business forms that could be used with these machines.
Maybe make a pre-dive check list for before you leave the house? I had to do that and put it on my front door so I'd stop forgetting stuff! I got certified many years ago over in Maui. What a great place to dive.
The box with the crank was for receipts in triplicate. It cranks a new one in place after you fill out one and separate them for the buyer, the company, and for records.
Exactly! We had one of those at my parents business to write receipts at one time I think in the 70’s. Write the receipt and use the handle to crank it out. The other is definitely a Pitney Bowes stamp machine. It printed out those stamps that were on the white labels. Tear off the back and stick it on the letter or small package. A set of scales went with it but were separate.
The box you found with the key in it that looks like the old dumb billing machines that my grandfather had at his gas station you would write out the bill and have them sign it and then turn the handle one copy would go into the into the bottom of the box and a copy would come out for the customer now I’m guessing because that’s what it looks like.
Please be careful when encountering any pressure vessel underwater, especially a rusty one. It could still be charged up and just waiting for you to give it a bang on a weak rusty spot.
Enjoyed your video!!! Thanks for showing us what is in one of the AWP magnet fishing boxes. I wondered what that thread locker stuff was for. Is that just a one-time deal on the threads or do you have put it on every time you go magnet fishing? 🤿😺😊😸
First thought as you said you got kicked in face, you must be scuba diving with Britain, but his big heart he is always willing to help Is the bag for garbage, great kit from AWP? Great video once again, had to edit, Pitney Bows might be how we did paid stamps, you punched in the cost after you weighed envelope and then printed it on that envelope for prepaid postage
Duplicate receipt machine. Top copy goes to customer and duplicated copy is stored inside of box for end of day tally. I guess that dates me having seen them used.
I can't wait to finish my certification and get out there diving and cleaning up the waters! I am inspired! Thanks Nug and crew!
It's very fun and rewarding go check out some of my dives

Ohhhh. Cool. Wonder why it’s in the river
Exactly! There was one at the bank I once worked at. Keeps one from licking a bunch of stamps. Yuck!
I used to hate putting the postage on those machines, I am sure they are much easier now.
@@exploringwithnug maybe it broke and couldn't get replacement parts?
Cool finds! Definitely different from the usual stuff! Great job Nug!

The machine with the handle on it is for writing receipt on 84 lumber used to use them.
I agree with your wife on the receipt box. As always, I enjoyed this video.
The other box with crank may go on top of the bigger box.
The machine with the crank is an old receipt machine. Have used one MANY times !!!
Looks like the old boxes that dispensed Kotex 😂
The box reminds me of a receipt-writing machine.

Crossing my fingers for you Jeremy. 🤞
Hey Nug, where did you get that yellow mesh bag? I have been trying to find them for a long time!!

Enjoyed your video!!! Thanks for showing us what is in one of the AWP magnet fishing boxes. I wondered what that thread locker stuff was for. Is that just a one-time deal on the threads or do you have put it on every time you go magnet fishing? 🤿😺😊😸

If that aluminum is not a fence post top... It may be to cut holes in garden for seeds.
I think it's a check writer
Uracil receipt machine
Or a postage machine
Those bottles are spells someone casted
Cat Lady was 100% correct.
It's a credit card machine from the '80s
Your wife is right, from the 70's - 80's.
Looks like a Cash Register.
I thought that last one was a air pump box from a gas station. Crank the air pressure. Fill your tires and get in your Car "and" Go
CURAGO is Latin in origin and translated to English means to manage, which makes sense if it is a credit card receipt receiots.
