"Did we just find his Car?" 4 Cars FOUND Minutes Away From MISSING PERSON'S House!

- * UPDATE* I received information from Jimmie's family that his remains were actually found back in 2004 and they were identified in 2020 through DNA. His car was found shortly after he disappeared. We do our best to research cases and see if they are still current before going out searching but unfortunately many cases have little information and are not updated online even after people are located which makes it difficult.

We searched a small pond in Montgomery, Alabama for missing person Jimmie Lee Green and found 4 vehicles in 10 feet of water! Jimmie Green was last seen in Montgomery, Alabama on January 11, 2004. He was driving a dark blue 4 door 1989 Cadillac Brougham with the right rear window broken out. Vehicle may have expired Alabama Tag #V05087 on it. We are pretty confident none of the vehicles are his but we are still searching and please reach out if you have any information. Thanks for the support!

Small triangle-shaped window, with the latch.
This window may be set on hinges and is then also known as a vent window, wing window, wing vent window, or a fly window. Most often found on older vehicles on the front doors, it is a small roughly triangular glass in front of and separate from the main window that rotates inward for ventilation.
My sister once sold a car. For whatever reason, she left the tag on it. A year later, she got a call from the sheriff's department asking if she knew why her car was in a lake.
Never leave a tag on one you sell. In Florida if it is in a wreck the cars owners insurance is responsible. The titles have a part at the top for you to mail or take to DMV. I know someone who got charged for a wreck because no insurance and this buyer never registered it in their name...Cover yourself and keep your tag.
In MN you are required to leave the license plate on the car.
States vary on laws about if the tag stays with the owner or the car. You really have to know local requirements.

The little window you found is called a wing, and the door handle is from an old car. I think they stopped using those in the late 80s.

The grill and the triangle window you found looks like it would be a possible match to a 1980 Cadillac Le Cab. Just sayin', it could be a Cadillac, but probably not the one you're looking for. You guys are doing good work. 👍

My uncle's car was found shortly after he disappeared. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office investigated this case, and his death has been ruled a suicide. Someone mysteriously sold his car to a wrecker service or something - we still have many answers.
Good work AB and Jeremy, you did more diligence than anyone else. Not knocking LE but missing people have never been a priority, when I worked for DOJ they were last on a long list. Thanks for recording the dives, it's educational since I learn what you see and how to distinguish different objects, keep diving!

Looks like a 1968 Impala door handle and wing window..
My husband also said it looked like possibly an Impala. I haven’t looked them up yet but it’s looking like it.

Cadillac quit using front wing windows in 74. They also shrunk their body style in 88.

My dad had a blue Ford station wagon in the 70s with those windows and door handles. Maybe that vehicle is a Ford model of some kind.

1989 Lincoln’s did have that triangular window on the front door and came with Factory Original Light Teal Metallic Paint. Hmmm… A Lincoln Continental had the distinctive oval opera windows in the back too.
I can’t believe you’d put American Racing rims on either a Lincoln or Cadillac, from that era.
