Work here is on the fly wizard sequencing and tweaking knobs , it's not improvised, it's created, writtened, well prepared before ... It's perfect work. Thanks mr. Voorn 😎
@@AxisChemicals yes, it's all re-programmed sequences, but hard work is to keep it together during live performance, tweak knobs/buttons&faders and make it alive
Have you seen the commun question of hardware and sofware? In this video you have got the answer...enjoying playing with the gear....the video that opened my mind time ago is a video of jeff milles with Tr-909,korg ms2000d,acid 0x0x0( i dont remember the model),Moog Voyager and a mixer...
They can still be had reasonably. Just picked up a minty one for $500 on Letgo a few months ago. The best bet however is finding one that has a voice or two gone bad. They sell for pennies on the dollar, and the fix is quite easy and cheap. In fact, it is absolutely thrilling to resurrect one using the many videos showing how to fix the voices (if they are the problem). When you work on one, and fix it, the music that comes from it is that much more satisfying. Be diligent on Craigs and Letgo type formats. If you find a 106, or any other vintage synth, try to get its story. I’ve done so a few times and it becomes a fascinating journey reaching out to the lineage of previous owners, and sometimes hearing the actual music the synth was used for. It creates a mojo that will affect how you play it. Cheers
Moved in Amsterdam before unexpectedly the virus killed the techno scene, you are one of the reasons why I chose Amsterdam. I'm hoping for 2021, I consider you my therapist.
Thank you for your inspiring music, great live sessions. It reminds me back in 1995 where the electronic (rave) culture was very big in Switzerland. Electronic music will never die :-)
That’s a cat. A cat wearing a sweater. And a wig. Guarding cables. And deciding whether to get in the box. Because it’s heard rumors about bad things that might or might not happen to cats in boxes. The cats wants a Volca. The cat also wants a treat. Lots of treats. And then a quiet nap.
Live music making stays....for always the best way to check the real talent!!;+)...feel the crowd and bild on this energy..and at home the understanding off music....:+)
Something really special about seeing 35+ year old machines being sequenced my brand-new modern gear
I had no idea it was even possible to improvise a track like this. You have opened my eyes and inspired me for sure.

It's called live Jamming. Common enough amongst the Gurus of The Modules

O o o😮😊😊❤dit is weer eens lekker opgebouwd dit ritme en synthesizers lekker hopa gas geven en dansen en ook lekker in trance raken 😅
Getn major oldskool mid to late 90's vibes from this 🤟
It’s good to hear the MPC Live to be use like this. Like #analogkitchen. Thx for sharing the cession.
I’ve wanted a Juno 106 since 1984, now I want one even more. Thanks for this it is excellent, my speakers and my mind like it very much.
The system 8 has a wonderful recreation!
If 4 note polyphony is enough I'd go for the JU-06a instead. As close as you can get to both models and no voice chip problem.
You should have bought one! when they where cheap!
@@cryptout Mine was 350,- euros in 2000 or 2001 ;)

This is so good. So well balanced. Mesmerizing melody. Live. Loved it. Bedankt.
Balanced is a great description, like odd shapes working together
De hoover sound van de Roland juno lekker hoor 😊

Electronic music will never die :-)
My favorite part of the setup is the person creepily sitting on the floor hiding behind a syntheiser. I'm going to try this with my home setup!
His wife haaa haaaa lol
I think it's his boyfriend

Nicely done, I love it.
is that someone sitting on the floor behind the turntables??
My nephew who came for an unexpected visit.. I told him he could sit wherever he likes, he chose the left corner ;)

Would love to see what he exactly does with the MPC. I also started using it as the center of my setup. But currently only use it for MIDI and FX
So the main midi clock here was the MPC live2?
Something nice is coming .. we'll see
This is great, but who's the person hiding behind the decks? and why?
When did you see a person?
Super)
我的宝藏艺人...
Dear Joris this was fun and good man! Excellent !
How exactly do you use the MPC Live ii in the setup?
Looks like he’s using it to sequence the synths and drum machines and using pad mutes to bring in different parts
It does all sequencing and some sample programming.
ohhhhhh my
Anyone know what's the device next to the SH-101, on the bottom right?
It's "Crane Song Avocet" which is a stereo monitor controller
Hi, what does your midi setup look like?
SICK TRACK WHAT IS THIS
wish i could understand what he is doing. hes definite a master at work.
inside a 3 star michelin kitchen this guy is frying eggs
whats your go to synths for bass?
great :)
Hi mate, is this a dawless setup based form the MPC live II?
Which loop pedal is on the 909 please??
Cheers
May I ask what units the Akai Live is sequencing? Are any of the synths using their own onboard step seqs? Or bit of both?
