I was incredibly fortunate to see Alan Rickman on stage in Les Liaisons dangereuses when he was relatively unknown. Three rows in, I was spellbound by the sword fight. As I left the theater, I realized, the reason I was so absorbed was his performance. This happened over 30 years ago and it remains one oil the finest stage performances that I have ever seen.
I am reading his diaries, rn. Exceptional actor…complex human. Title: Madly Deeply. Highly recommend. His actual diary contained the most gorgeous drawings to go along with his insight.
He managed to do to whatever he wanted with his voice : charming, ironic, mesmerising, but also terrifying when he decided to Dearest and most loved among all voices. Alan Rickman 's voice, THE voice as they called it, it's even said in a movie !
When Alan passed away I cried for days .... ughhh I missed his comfort he brings and his jokes. So wise... warned me of alot of things.... eased the paranoia

I lost my grandfather to the same cancer Alan had, just a couple of years after Alans passing, and I understand the feeling of losing both a rolemodel and a comforting fatherly figure. End of an eara.Then David Bowie joined him and I was thoroughly messed up.Genuine messed.I got his autograph by doing a Snape portrait and then sending him a Snape sticker which he assumed I wanted signed.I treasure those.😢😊
@@Popunkwillneverdie You knew him personally like a friend you see often/occasionally/rarely or like family? Or you knew him as in you"ve watched his films/plays/interviews? If it's the latter... Then I knew him too. Since 1978 BBC production of Romeo & Juliet first time I seen him.
Please remember him? How could I ever forget him? His range was startlingly broad and his depth was unfathomable. Forever etched in my mind is the scene in "Love Actually" where Laura Linney's character is asking him if people in the office knew she was so enamored of Carl and for how long. He only had one word answers to each of her questions; "yes". But his body language and facial expressions were so articulate that he was able to convey the line and several other lines of subtext simultaneously. Truly amazing acting skills and yet such a kind human with the most unforgettable voice.
There are certain words I just LOVE hearing him saying. Oof- “behavior” is one of them for sure. But I just love hearing him talk, I love his unusual inflections and his entire face. He’s perfection. SO lucky I got to meet him. Twice. I wish so badly he was still here with us.
I swear, with the cover of this video being him looking at the camera. It's like he's looking straight into my soul. Not gonna lie, that's what it feels like every time.
I sincerely truly hope Alan Rickman will never ever be forgotten ever! His body of work, his charming wit, his smile, that deep voice, etc. He was taken way too soon definitely 😢Miss seeing his presence on screen! Glad for his existing catalog of great works but I just wish he coulda played a vampire or a Bond villain! #RIPAlanRickman!
I spent the day with alan.... I started crying.... he just started talking to me reassuring me of a situation he knew about... and immediately I stopped crying ... he really is the best. ❤
His voice feels like a thick and deep cloud like a cloudy sky. However, it does not make you feel a dark atmosphere, but it becomes a strange feeling that speaks directly to the bottom of your heart. That charming voice still fascinates me❤

Nunca será olvidado por sus papeles cinematográficos, desde Robin Hood, El Perfume, Sweeney Todd, y por generaciones de adolescentes por su, por lo visto, complicado de interpretar, personaje de mago intimidatorio y atrayente, el cual me gustó desde el principio y sabía que estaban siendo injustos con él.
Son muchas horas pero vale la pena escucharlo y observar su característica facial de hacer un movimiento hacia arriba con su labio superior. Es una voz modulada y relajante. Me gusta 🦋
