I’d love to hear the KSM11 compared to the KSM9 with a male vocalist and also with repeated passages like Blue Sky has suggested.
Through my 305P MkIIs, the *KSM9* sat most naturally in the mix.
The *KSM11* takes a close second for me with its slightly scooped/hyped character. I could see the KSM11 being best for some live performances depending on the artist and venue, but in this recording it just doesn’t sound as natural as the KSM9.
The *KSM8* seems very forgiving, which is to say slightly lacking in clarity but still punching through the mix, with a wider sweet spot than the SM58. It seems like an all-around improvement on the SM58 formula, and I could see the KSM8 becoming a new live dynamic standard and replacing the SM7B for live studio performances and streaming.

Actually, it's hard to compare them, because of the dynamic differences of the song parts. As a KSM9 user since it's on the market, I'm waiting for a digital wireless alternative. I would love to hear a more detailed comparison between these microphones. If you wouldn't do it, I will buy a KSM11 and make a review myself ;)

It would've been nice to hear the same parts being sung in the comparison. Really like the sweet spot in the KSM8 and it's all around very controlled but I feel it hides the uniqueness of the vocal color tone of singers based on the many comparisons I've watched a this point. The KSM9 is warm but sibilance and pops are much higher than the KSM8. The KSM11 seems like the right choice. Is the sweet spot as wide as the 8?

Wenn der autotune nicht wäre, könnte man auch einen vernünftigen Unterschied hören

Oh yes. EQ and compression make wonders))). BTW for this “vocal” PG would be more than enough.
