How can panel miss the point completely? Being against lobbyists is not pro or anti worker. It is not pro or anti company. It is like he said and question is whether lobbyists are asking for things in interest of Canadians. He supports free markets not gov enabled monopolies or gov given preferential treatment to some companies.

He didn’t say he was against lobbyists… he said that lobbyists will have to make a compelling case. He said this a group of small business owners, who are among the most impacted by self serving corporate AND labour interests. If you are going to try to stage an expose, shouldn’t you at least appear to have a balanced debate?

It's a double edged sword that can too easily fall to one side. Unions today ain't like they used to be. They're just cash scams at this point, masquerading as worker protection. They disappear when it's time to stand up against big corp and gov't.

The reason we have weekends off, overtime and rights at work is because of workers rights legislation and has nothing to do with unions. Unions help their own and nobody else.
