    You can also install duck housing above a pond where the duck feces will fertilize the pond and double the amount of fish produced. Nice video

    I can watch ducks working in field for hours. I know this for a fact because I have already on youtube. If you add ducks to your farm please may video to feed my habit. It’s amazing to watch them.

    I am a U.S. based duck rice farmer. I would like to know more about the creation of this video, who produced it and for what purpose. It's great. A little different than how I do it, but very informative and very well made.

      would you mind mentioning the specific varieties and what state? Tying to find out if it's s a modern water sparing variety in the USoA

      I grow northern Japanese varieties including yukihikari and akitakomachi in Vermont. Many seed specimens are available in 5g allotments from the USDA. Most farmers in my region who have tried dry or semi dry rice at first experienced production increases after trying a full paddy method. So I am not very interested in dry growing arrangements, I do only rice paddies.

      you need to put fish in rice field too and you got a lot customer in new England lowell mass 100k or more asian Peking duck cost me about 15$ each

    can anyone tell me why has one or two of the ducks at the start of the video have what looks like a bead hanging from the ducks beak, is there a reason for this like to tell who the duck belongs too or what, thank you for any answer

    i just curious,1kg of check booster is for 1 head only or what? too much i think if 1kg a day for only 1head,.thats why you put them in the field to eat,but still why 1kg of chick booster is given per head.! correct me if am wrong sir.

    Why don't the ducks eat the rice plants? I've been really curious on this point - runner ducks that eat slugs in vineyards, rice paddy ducks...

      Apparently ducks can't digest the silica(?) in rice

      Douglas Franz yes I think 10-20 days after rice transplantation (when the rice plants are taller than the ducks) and before flowering
