    So grateful for this conversation, including about how very basic blood work is through PCPs. And I’ve been on it about lifting as heavy as I can to gain muscle, since I love the fasting lifestyle. And it’s always made sense to me that health is at least 75% environment, so thank you for the valuable insight on that, too. Thank you!!🌺

      He actually mentions way more than three things:
      1) "Eating a healthy diet." (Matt's personal approach is to eat a HIGH protein diet.) (He implies, though, that for some people, a Mediterranean diet might be best.)
      2) "Cutting out all highly processed foods."
      3) "Cut out the simple sugars and avoid foods that have added sugars.... cut garbage out of your diet."
      4) "Maintain a healthy body weight."
      5) "Get the alcohol out of the house. (Booze) is useless calories." ("That whole resveratrol story was a massively flawed study, so skip the red wine.")
      6) "Exercise. Don't be sedentary."
      7) "Monitor your blood glucose. Consider continuous glucose monitoring."
      8) "Track your food and the nutritional content" for a while. Write down everything you eat and what's in it (calories, protein, carbs, fat). "It's really simple. If you eat too many calories, you'll gain weight. Try to make the amount you eat less than you burn if you want to lose weight."

    It is NOT difficult to eat healthily, this is a fallacy that perpetuates disease and gives excuses. Eat salad, fruit, vegetables, fish - and cut out fast food and desserts. Soooooooo simple - so stop creating drama over how ‘difficult’ it is to eat healthily- it’s the most normal, natural, easy way of eating imaginable

      The difficulty comes from addiction. People need to realize they are addicted to certain substances and they need to fast from those for a few weeks to realize that and then eating healthy is easy.

      This is akin to saying, you can be anything you want, as long as you work hard. Or that we all have free will. How likely to earn 6 digit $ salary born in the ghettos? What is your view on life, born into an alcoholic abusive family? We are bombarded by big food and pharma from the day our eyes can recognize a screen. Eating healthy is the exception rather than the norm, influenced by all the above.

    I’m struggling to find meaningful solutions to betterment in a relational sense I cannot love Geminis nor do I want one it’s all or nothing my God This Country has killed many people no health care or anything unless your very healthy the 1st step isn’t great I hate it here
