The seller, a man named Mr. Carlson, communicated through messages with an air of nostalgia, sharing stories of road trips and adventures that the car had witnessed. Their conversations were warm, and Jake felt a strange connection, as if fate had brought this opportunity to him. Eager to see the car in person, they agreed to meet at an old, somewhat forgotten gas station on the outskirts of town.
The meeting was set for a late afternoon, but as Jake arrived, the sun unexpectedly dipped below the horizon, casting an eerie twilight over the gas station. Mr. Carlson was already there, leaning against the shiny Geo Metro, which looked even more impressive in person. i actually know who owns that first BMW, i work at a scrapyard here in Ottawa (where the car is located) and ive seen it multiple times in the parking lot. not only do they use old salvaged parts and not new ones like they state, My boss and I have caught them stealing so they're likely using stolen parts in it as well. mu jaw dropped when i saw yall talk about it 😂

Power steering leak, header fractures, exhaust leaks, intermittent dash failure, 4wd failure, the diagnostics port itself failing to connect to any of the CMs... You'd have to pay me to buy a Silverado. We sold the 07 to Carvana when the 4wd gave up the ghost and I couldn't even get either of my 3 code readers nor diagnostics tablet to talk to it. We still have the 01 because it's a 2500 with only 30k on the clock, despite it's issues.

I built my 91 Ford Ranger back in the day from a JC Whitney mag. 😂 They had one dedicated to my specific truck so I had the billet grille, the crystal clear headlights and corner lights, bug shield, chrome mirrors and door handles. I probably spent a thousand dollars on all that shit back before eBay was littered with cheap parts. I was a broke 20 year old so ai couldnt afford the 2-3k for the suspension kits or the 1k for the roll pans and bed covers and shaved tailgate.
For the American market the 8th gen civic was from 2006-2011 and the blocks that would crack are from 2006-2008. Funny enough I drive a 2006 civic and it has 271,000 miles on it and the block has never cracked. The vin on the engine matches the vin everywhere else on the car. I have seen 1 2011 civic block crack though but it’s extremely rare. Im a tech at a Honda dealer
