I am the developer of Key Plus app. Thank you for mentioning it in your video. That night time shot of the lake looks amazing. When you took the same photo on other two phones, did you vary the ISO, shutter speed and other settings, just like you did with G4?
Awesome work on the app! It's the only 3rd party app that I thought was a necessity on the G4! I did adjust the other phones as much as the built in camera apps would let me. There were no shutter speed options on either the iPhone or S6 which was the main factor in getting a detailed night shot. Even with the ISO maxed out on the G4, the photos were just as dark as on the other two phones with a shutter speed under 10 seconds. It wasn't until about 20 seconds that I started to gather detail and brightness regardless of the ISO setting. I hope that info helps! And great job again on Key Plus!
Wow, a remarkable amount of features.. I have been skimping on having a "true" smartphone for some years now due to budgetary reasons (I'd rather have a beefy desktop as a power user), but smartphones have really become smart since.. haven't they? I'll have to watch this video again when the phone finally arrives at my front door.. I'm also checking out videos for the best android apps & other general android smartphone settings. What I'm really excited about (among everything else) is the ability to have 2 windows open, have wireless charging and having a phone that has a camera that is better than anything I've owned in years.. great video I've learned a few new things... i would only add one feature: slide your finger down while the screen is locked, you'll be able to see time and date and modifications without having to unlock.
Wow your video is very informative. Very brief and juicy. I had my phone 2 weeks ago and I can say that I'm enjoying it a lot. My favorite feature is the touch assistance, lets me take a screenshot without pressing the buttons at the back.
I've been thinking about buying this phone for some time now.. I still have the first Note, and your video just made me realize how much I'm missing out and how much I'll need to learn when I buy a new phone. I'll probably go get the phone and then watch your video again, I just wish you'd show the features more slowly/detailed so that people who don't know how to use these kinds of phones at all would be able to follow the instructions easily..

You know I was gonna switch to the LG G4 and add the LG smartwatch but then Note 5 and subsequently the Gear S2. Both turning the notch up over other phones. Yeah...i'll stick to my Samsung family.

The LG G4 is, in my opinion, the most ahead of it's time smartphone we've had for the last decade. If it wasn't for the bootloop bug bricking my LG G4, i would've still used it today. 1440p 60Hz OLED glossy display, latest bluetooth version at the time, insanely good built-in DAC for clean AUX audio and music playback, good OS features that wasn't as bloated as any of the competitors Operating Systems at the time, long battery life, amazing camera and lastly iconic, timeless physical aesthetics and good build quality. Considering the price i gave for it back then, it was a fucking bargain compared to buying a new smartphone nowadays. Especially during this economic recession. Wish LG would still make phones like this. Nostalgic for sure.
Those low light shots are amazing! Love the built in junk cleaner, saves me from downloading an app. Lovely mentions dude...will keep in mind for my future purchase.
