We'll be taking look at a Diamond 1 Jett who is playing on their smurf account but still losing their matches and really struggling to make an impact. In this particular game, we'll be focusing a ton on the role of a duelist, how this Jett can entry more effectively, and also work a lot with teamwork and unnecessary deaths. There are quite a few mistakes in this video, so there is something for everyone to learn. The key to remember here is that this should be a relatively easy game for the Jett, so the question we are trying to answer is why was it such a struggle?

Hey Dragonmar, let me cut to the chase. I discovered your channel with the "Mindset used in Solo Queue" video when I was bronze, and let me tell you: things have never been the same after that day. Since then, I've climbed to high diamond using that mentality, but since then quit since I was pouring too many hours into the game with my MMR and found work (I played about 1000 30-minute games to reach my rank, then graduated high school and had to jump into the workforce). It's currently been 9 months since you've last posted. A lot of RUclipsrs I greatly valued are quitting or taking breaks with no hope of seeing them again. I hope you're doing well, man. Take care of your mentality and health first. Hope to see you post again eventually.

@@JAAR826 am in plat 3 i faced these type of players every now and then in mid plat to low diamond lobbies.
All they do is instalock reyna or jett doesn't entry lurks mid 9/10 times,wide swings every angle and shows aggression only on defense rounds and goes for long route back stabs to get easy frags. And at the end of the match they somehow end up 2nd in the scoreboard and blames other players for losing.

you seem to add alot of focus on the minimap like talking about looking at the omen smoke in tiles. realistically how much are you supposed to look at the minimap? the main issue is comms as no one is giving any on his team and neither is he
the point of looking at map is because of lack of comms, a lot of players miss information even with comms so being map awareness can help a lot
Pretty much every time I hear any sound cues i.e. shots, util being used, footsteps... I look at the minimap, even if team is comming. You'd be surprised how much more info you gain than everyone else, and you can comm it all to the rest of your team
Most/all high elo player glance at the map whenever they aren't in a fight, when rotating and in smokes
@@omega_official9936 I do check my minimap as well in those situations but when you’re peeking tiles and expecting to take a fight is it really a good idea to glance at the minimap?
@@Anonymous-ph3co personally i see pros and even just high elo do it as instinct, although sometimes it's just impossible to react fast enough
I’ve been watching your videos for almost a year, and I love the way you coach. I’m a gold 2 skye/omen/Jett main. I feel like I’m losing a lot of my games because of my teammates and the enemy doing bullsht plays.

Bro how’s he diamond and for the answer to his question the answer is he does not deserve diamond im out here destroying plat 3s while being plat 1 the ranking system in this game is lame and it’s luck at most to be able to get to diamond without having good fundamentals
Diamond is literally just a time commitment thing. I’ve had gold 2s perform better than diamond 2s in my lobbies before quite a few times. Some diamonds actually just suck and are boosted by the system or by abusing stacking
Players are not robots. They can have bad games and you can have good games. Ranks are not a measure of absolute skill. They’re a measure of consistency.

@@jeminiloco2080 I consistently top frag in diamond-ascendant, but went 8-19 against gold 1s. It is possible to just have a bad game

Poor Jett, haha i mean yes a lot of mistakes.. i think their name mistake is mentality! They in the middle of the game write, "diamond player getting $hitt on.." i don't think they are feeling confident enough.. and definitely not a diamond gameplay style coming by them 🥲
