Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

Just because the Iron player was better at 1v1ing bronze and silver, doesnt mean he is a better team player and good at comunication. Probably why he is still in iron.

You really see the movement difference with the Ascendent and Immortal compared to the rest. Far bigger difference than the aim.
Dude playing and watching some of these matches in the lobby was actually so tense sometimes. Definitely fun and I swear I just made it close at the end with the Asc for the video :D

i definitely believe deki is iron. i just got out of iron simply because i don’t play enough to rank up. he’s probably just naturally good at the game. realistically if he played more he’d probably be gold.

I’m ascendant 3 and I can confidently say that my iron friends that have been playing for a lil not like beginner irons like 1 month into the game irons are the similar skill level as low silver. Chamber carried me outta gold to diamond and I had to build a lot of conms and game sense to get out of diamond
Thats exactly how I was able to hit diamond the first time, was Chamber carrying me out with my aim, had to build a whole bunch of com skills along the way

i've seen lots of iron players like that! good crosshair placement and positioning but shitty execution, game sense, etc. good/decent at one thing, but not good enough at everything else to be good enough to not be iron/bronze. me myself included. i have decent game sense, hell i'd *like* to say great game sense in theory, i just can't execute that in a real game, as i overthink too much and have not the best aim

You need to do this experiment: Inmortal vs ascendant, And say to inmortal the other guy is radiant, and to ascendant that the other guy is diamont. 3 times with diferent ranks.
as someone that came from other fps games, an iron like deki is still possible. not all irons are first time fps players.
that plus the possibility of having a friend to teach you jett movements because youre confident enough to learn the abilities first in game. def possible

Iron: Had better 1v1 and decent game sense, but probably wouldn't work well with a team, might be why people think he's a smurfing Silver.

Bronze: Game sense is a bit lacking and needs to work on aim, but it looks like they'd be useful in a team.

Silver: Not very good in 1v1, better game sense than the Iron but not very good aim, would be useful in team comp for entry.

Gold: Decent game sense, shakey aim probably nervous, would be helpful in comp for the same reason as the Silver, would've lost to Iron if his aim was a bit worse.

Plat: Good game sense, good aim, would be useful in the comp and probably carries.
~
Diamond: Overthinking but decent game sense, very good aim, against a Plat it's the closest we get in skill honestly 50/50.

Ascend: Good game sense, good aim had fun and seems to be good at having fun with people which makes him good with team. Deserved rank.

Immo: Amazing game sense, great aim, very confident seems like a carry with a team, made good space and good defence. Close in skill with Ascend, still a rough 50/50

Radiant: I mean... It's Radiant. Pretty much Immortal but seems to be able to adapt and can work really good with a team. About 70/30 maybe even 60/40 with a hardstuck Immo 3?

anywhere from asc 3 - radiant has an extremely similiar aim benchmark and honestly these 1v1s just consisted of smart timing'ed aim duels which anyone couldve won

honestly as an immo 3 player this 1v1 is defense sided cuz they have to go to 1 site and the defender can play so many rat corners and in most maps lets say lotus he know the attacker posi cuz he has to come from a main so deki won against silver and bronze cuz of this this is also shown by how ditto started to lose against the diamond player as soon as he went into attack the defender can push up hold many angles and the attacker has to clear them all or lose and some angles are hard to clear as the leave you exposed to many other angles also why the ascendant won against the imo he did hit some pretty nice shots to be fair
I have friends in iron/b1 so I've seen tons of iron gameplay, recently. Deki is not even close to iron.
