Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

I dont get why the higher ranks didnt play skye. As an immortal, I would just flash for the info a ton, and call-out/ping where the enemy is walking to, skye dog for retake, ult farming etc...

@@ocaly Cant lie, I told them to go mostly initiator for info. They did. But they didnt really play their lives. I tried to get sage to farm ult orbs and they didnt really do it much lol. Fun video tho :3
@@mehilo3237 kind of impossible to win, even if you set up perfect crossfires, meaning the radiant can get as most as one kill. the radiant would need to get 9kills/13rounds, he needs to win about 66% of his duels until you're all perma killed.
Maybe force him to plant and then 9 people use all their util together to skye dog, breach stun, neon stun, omen blind, etc. Also, if you would drone/dart, gekko buddy/flash, skye dog, fade prawler/eye, reyna eye, he is gonna run out of bullets..

Watching this I realised there's only 1 controller, 1 duelist, 1 sentinel, and SIX INITIATORS. Like holy that sucks if any of the first 3 die.

This isn’t a normal game initiators are very smart for this game, you need info to locate the radiant and flash’s/stuns to get free kills. There is only one player so you don’t need sentinel or controller for map control as long as you have info on the radiant.
the problem is everybody is so afraid to peek that they forget that they dont actually have to shoot back just jump peek

1 radiant vs 5 diamond but the radiant can hear the diamond comms without them knowing
This challenge is actually radiant biased, perma death would mean that even trading is not favorable especially if it went to 13 rounds. The radiant basically has 10 + any rounds they win to kill 9 opponents, that doesn't seem hard at all.
Even if it was 5 radiants vs 1, it would still favor the 1 radiant unless they can util trap the 1 radiant player every time.

This challenge is legit the easiest challenge if everyone just plays patient and isn’t caught with their pants down. Just get cypher, kj/sage, deadlock, and you’re able to hold down the mains for every site. Then get smokes/molly agents like brim, viper, omen, who can just smoke and molly off of sentinel info for mains, then you can legit pick any other agent probs initiators, like skye and fade for info and slow down push. Split one sentinel each site, one smoker each site, and one initiator each site. Every one just plays angle off main sentinel util, forcing time pressure and just play a crossfire/swing together off initiator flash/info.

I think you're underestimating the sheer amount of util 9 people have. No, 5v1 radients the 1 will not win. They just rotate together and blast util.

Hi, top 100 radiant here, a tip, when pickijg an immortal to versr a radiant, pick a 300-500rr player, the skill gap is already big enough between high imm3 and radiant, putting a low immo player in is unfair and you basically gavr him a smurfing challenge

From the comms the high ranks usually stayed quiet cause they don't even wanna deal with the toxic garbage the rest of the teams were doing, there's no way they can't hold crossfires across the map with 9 players.

Update idea: put new sage immortal, and make her so if she can die she can revive all rounds, that still will be balanced i think and more strategic as they can use sage as body shield or radiant has to think ways to evoid sage duel, it would be fun

Kinda new, can someone explain how "he sold" at 9:12? What did they do at boat house at that moment that threw the game?
1 . By making noises thus revealing their spot AND THAT BREACH WALKED OUT FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON
2 . The sage should've stayed on top of the wall. Besides EVERYBODY TUCKING IN SUCH A TIGHT SPOT IS JUST BEGGING TO BE COLLATTED AND WALLBANGED they should've spread out to minimize the chances of dying to the radiant
3 . WHY DID THEY CHOOSED THE BOAT HOUSE? ITS THE WORSE PLACE THEY COULD'VE BEEN IN THERES NO WHERE FOR THEM TO RUN OR TAKE COVER it will be better if they were all in spawn/ defender spawn
(would be better if they were at defender spawn as the space is bigger thus they can spread out more and the radiant is almost definitely going through the attacker spawn to get to b site faster and their objective was only to survive )
( Continuation from 3 ) and be ready to take the fight if the Radiant came through and there is no way a normal radiant is shooting 5 people at a time while they could focus their fire on 1 person(aka the Radiant).
4 . In conclusion them staying on the move would've been more effective than just tucking in a place where if your plan fails you have no where to run and no plan b.
But in their defense they probably couldn't have thought of those ideas as they were in a intense situation where if they die they will be permanently dead.
(sage is useless in these 1v9 btw she is almost guarantee to not get the ult unless she frags or go around the map in search for orbs which would expose her to danger thus making it not worth it )
And the guy who said they should tuck in boat house influenced them to do so as there were no other suggestions.
Sorry for this long reply these are just my suggestions on how they could've done better.

Actually the stupidest game mode. You could have done even 9 radiants vs 1 radiant and same rules apply the radiant on the 1 team would still have high chance to win. He gets 13 times to 1v1 each person killing them forever
