Good luck with your new machine. If you want something to rinse a little better, I would stay away from the normal Eco cycle and use the heavy duty cycle so you get a full deep rinse especially if you use fabric softener.
Hi, I just got my TC5 a few days ago and have done 4 loads of laundry. What’s the best detergent/ and fabric softener to use for this Speed Queen? So far, clothes don’t have a any smell after wash and dry. I want them to smell super fresh, any recommendations, or tips?
Hi there! Congrats, I think you’re going to love it! I’ve had mine since January or so, but personally I use either powder tide mixed with downy beads, liquid tide or pods (depends on what I have in hand) and then the downy softener with it :) My kids love gain on their bedding and I noticed the smell is way stronger than what i personally really like :)

I noticed that! I was like is something wrong with the washer already? But they’re different lol thanks!
Totally agree!
I would never use the eco cycle. No way is the spray rinse alone going to remove all the detergent
I think I’ve only used it for this video bc it really doesn’t make sense 😂

@@Lovemyhomeee Thank you so much, I’m so excited to have my Speed Queen, going to try powder and the liquid tide.
Fabric softener kills washing machines. Tc5 owner for 1 week
@@AjA516 I’ve heard of that but I don’t think I can stop using 😫
@@Lovemyhomeeethey are also very unhealthy
How to make the washer run without close the lid?
Based on the videos I saw on here, I ended up using the wooden clothes spin behind the washer. Search up tc5 lid bypass and a bunch will come up 😀
@@Lovemyhomeee NO lid lock on theTC5
@@LovemyhomeeeI think it’s the same for the other sq top load model also
