      Because the better operators don't have time to record themselves

    That works great! Way better than just a frost tooth and a bucket.

    I picked up a rake and used it for a few months and it had wear pads on the ends of the teeth that wore out. I bought adapters for teeth and welded them on and added the teeth. Much more durable than before. I encounter a lot of rock where I am at. Its the best way for clearing rock and organics.

    How would you say this compares to raking with a large track loader (963 755 etc). Can you be as efficient and get as much material out of the soil as you can with a track loader? Thanks for the cool videos!

    Hooking and prying from the outer edge only is hard on bucket pins particularly in 120 size machine

    I'm trying to justify ordering one of these but I can't see where it works any better than a good rake on a dozer

    What kind of screen do you have? Could you show a video when you screen that soil? What spacing do you have on your rock rake? That seems way faster then using a rake on a dozer. It is amazing how much more powerful excavators are when you get the stick almost vertical.

    Nice how's it holding up against the frost factor?

    • @DirtNinja

      Holds up good. We have a frost ripper as well so anything over 6" and we rip it first

    Would still want the thumb for large rocks and logs.

    What is the width of the root rake?

  • @maineman11
    @maineman11 4 года назад

    Video was about ten minutes longer than it needed to be. And maybe only four tines and there would be less dirt transfer.

    Looks like it was pulling the stumps pretty good, better than I thought it would.
