I love plowing snow. It is one of the most cathartic jobs you can have! Just enjoying driving around, in the snow, watching it fall all night... yeah, I love it.
New blade works well. You have adapted to it quickly. Glad to see you plowing again after such a dry 2019 season for snow in New England. Hope you get plenty of work in 2020-21. Thanks for the video and the editing work.
Never fails, someone always has to park right next to the snow piles. Where I am in Maine we were supposed to get 4-8" up until the storm got going, think I ended up with about 16" at my house when the snow stopped. And now it's all gone lol. Decided not to renew my biggest commercial contract this year, probably going to regret it unless we start getting a bunch of storms, but it is some nice to have my tractor at home now
I think this was the storm we were just grazed by here in Maine. We got just enough to plow Fluffy cold snow is a treat compared to the wet heavy stuff!
I wish *MY* life sucked so much that I needed to intoxicate myself as much as you. But.... Instead, I have a fantastic life and am sober 24/7. I have no dependencies. It's incredible.
I really enjoy plowing snow from the comfort of my chair and with you and the new MetalPless out in the snow. Enjoy your videos and look forward to being notified that a new one is available. I assume you were able to finish the job with the narrow and steep lot before it got too cold and snowy.
Seems a little weird but I'm starting my formation at school on heavy machinery at the end of the month (career reorientation) at the age of 41 and I can't wait to do that kind of work...here in Quebec, Canada, we get huge snowstorm and I can't wait to plow during winter hehehe!
For several years in a row, we had multiple snow storms in Lower Delaware. I purchased a tractor about 2 years ago with a bucket to use for removing snow . We haven't had more than a dusting since then
Hyh. Man. I'm so jealous.. It's like 3rd winter in Poland, that we don't get "real" amount of snow.. Our winter lately is a bit like autumn. Have a great 2021! 👍
@@DirtNinja Maybe you can get done faster with better tires. If you charge a flat rate and get done faster, you essentially "make" more money per hour worked. Unless you are paid by the hour...

I’m from Alaska, and spending Christmas in Las Vegas. It is SO weird not having snow, I have been wearing shorts! I’m sure you normally have a boat load of snow by now as well.
I like the sound of your machine. The transmission sings. The engine is quiet. That articulate "black Metal Pless Maxx Pro 12-24" blade is a lot bigger than it looks in the video. At 2:04 I understood how wide/huge it was. I'm guessing the "12-24" is the width range of it. Where are the controls to it located? On the steering wheel? You work it while driving. How is that done?
Must have a co2 laser of some sort with that gas setup. We have the same kind of setup but a lot bigger and we have 5 co2 lasers and one fiber optic. Nice video!!!
The amount of snow is crazy. I'm 21 but have never seen snow or mountains so I want to one day and yeah the weather is never what they say it is in Florida also haha. cool video
@@DirtNinja But why? at least chains, I know it sucks to drive on but... In Norway we have wintertires with studs for wheelloaders clearing snow and using them all year round, and changing from winter to summer on tractors... (Nokian Tri)

So far I've plowed twice this season with our new metalpless both times it was wet snow it scraped to asphalt and pushed it fine I can't say about the curbs I tend to not hit them for obvious reasons but I'll say this if you hit a curb really hard it doesn't matter what pusher you have you are bending something.
I’m sure you’ve been asked this a bunch, but do you ever feel that your loader is a bit under powered especially when your pushing a full load of wet heavy snow?
This really wasn't much of a storm even here in New England. Some folks get super worked up here about things storms and snow though. They'll call 10" of snow fall 10" of snow, while there's only really 5" of accumulation, lol.
That was funny. I had to replay that part. The windshield had been cleared by the whippers. A sign of life. I didn't notice that at first. ... It was a sleeper. Ready to go but staying low.
it's interesting to see that you neither run winter tires nor snow chains. do you have those? in Austria we have steep inclines and literally every plow runs on snowchains
