Kebu - Hope (Roland JUPITER-Xm demo live at Abbey Road Studios)

- In August 2019 I was invited to perform at Roland's launch event at Abbey Road Studios in London, with the then top-secret JUPITER-Xm. So I was borrowed a pre-production unit and was planning to use it as part of a keyboard rig setup. Having tested it for a few days, I realized that I could do a whole tune using only one the JUPITER-Xm. So I composed a new tune (still unnamed) that I performed live at Abbey Road Studio 2 on the launch event.
The tune uses two scenes, with the main part of the tune being based around a factory preset by Gattobus that I modified. All the sounds are generated in realtime by the synth's I-Arpeggiator based on my playing. There are no backing tracks or pre-made sequences. I use an iPad running MIDI Designer for controlling some parameters that were not accessible from the front panel of the synth in the beta version of the firmware. The iPad was connected using the built-in Bluetooth of the JUPITER-Xm.

The worst thing about the song is that it's too short. Would love a 30+ minutes remix instead of pushing replay here all the time.

That particular keyboard has scenes that are basically 5 different sounds which can be individually assigned arps and keyboard zones he used a single scene for this performance....I mean that keybioard makes this sort of performance possible even for sucky players like me lol

Really smooth melody and very ether like intro. Reminds me of some of the movies from the early 80's at the very beginning of the song. Then goes into a "chariots of fire" kind of run. Smooth transitions from the intro into the melody and then into the body. Nice work!
