Opening seconds discussing Discharge is great.

It’s interesting how peoples voices change over time, but Lou sounds exactly the same.

I came to Sebadoh for the Lou songs, but 25+ years later, I've stayed for the Jason songs.

I bet Bob was like an idol to Lou and he was so nervous hanging with THE Bob Mould.

But very cool to see Bob geeking out on Lou's bands/projects right in front of him.

would've been leagues better with his basslines for sure... no one can write them like him

Wasn’t his choice. I believe Dino “broke up” and then reformed without him.

Barlow's meltdown at Reading was a proper lil bit of drama at the time that got played out in the indie press.

I remember seeing this when it aired and while it was great to see a couple of my music heroes on MTV, I couldn't help but kind of feel embarrassed for both of them because of how awkward they were sitting there not knowing how to be natural. Bob sounded like someone's grandfather saying "neat" and talking about Ben & Jerry's and Lou constantly looking up at the ceiling as he's talking. Regardless, it was really cool to have these guys on 120 Minutes since it seemed rare to catch really great bands on it, especially when the regular hosts were always playing shit I could care less about.

I was there for that Sebadoh gig at Reading 1994. Courtney Love came on stage and said something to him, then Lou had a melt down, smashed up his guitar and left Jason and Bob to finish the show.
