J is literally so awkward he’s charismatic
tbh he's not awkward at all, he just simply is like that. always has been
Hes just a soft spoken person. He seems to do what he loves, I dont think he expected to have everyone gawking at him. Hes just super down to earth and laid back. Not awkward at all.
it’s a put on, he acts like a regular fool when the “right” people are present. he doesn’t pull the apathetic shit say, when he was wanting Ron Asheton to show him stooges stuff
J is so freaking awkward. I love it!!!! It would be weird if he wasn't this awkward in every interview that I ever seen of him. As dry as he is, I think he was actually less dry in this video, which is hilarious!!!

My dad went to highschool with him. I met the drummer after a show I played at the same place they did. It was awesome. I felt like a real musician for the first time ever

The perfect interview
This one of coolest things i've ever seen on youtube! J Mascis and Dinosaur Jr. are in fact a miracle, there's no other band that i've liked and listened to since i heard them on Boston College radio station circa 1990. Their sound is unique and brings up my mood everytime. Great acomplishment for having this interview, kid, keep pursuing your dreams and long live this melodic guitar and voice!
