  • Someone suggested I give my new "Sword in the Stone" YTP the two-part approach to see if it uploads. Here you go! It was a month in the making, though ideas for it had been circulating in my head for over twelve years, but with the 60th anniversary being this Christmas, I figured now was the best time, complete with using an old VHS copy of the movie! It's honestly not one of Disney's best animated features, but that does make it pretty good RUclips Poop material!
    Special thanks to ‪@YoshiAngemon‬ and doughnutser256 for a few of the joke ideas!

    My mom always feels sympathetic when that girl squirrel gets saddened over losing Wart after seeing that he's actually a human boy.

    Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, but as a little kid, I actually felt sorry for that squirrel girl being heartbroken like that.
    Also, a thought just occured to me that in addition to "What Does the Fox Say?" you should've also dubbed in the fox that went tee-hee over Mim's laughing.

    This film also reuses the animation of Horace getting bonked on the head from 101 Dalmations.

    • @arenjtumastens
      @arenjtumastens 8 месяцев назад +2

      That was Jasper who got bonked.

    2:14 these coughing sounds were heard again by Roquefort in "The Aristocats", which, of course, had released on Christmas Eve.
    6:34 obviously because of the same voice role. And both Wart, Christopher Robin, and Mowgli were voiced by sons of Director Wolfgang Reitherman.

    That old Arthur's model plane bit I knew was inevitable to be used here once I noticed it. And I just realized that also he and this Arthur (Wart) are name twins!
    And I can say they the same about the Sleeping Beauty dragon battle scene. Considering, some of that film's opening credits backgrounds were used here as well. Same with the same animation of the horse galloping toward the camera, which was also first used in "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad".

    One of the funny things here is I actually have the Disney Rarities set with "The Truth About Mother Goose" to understand the context.

    1:56 left out how Kay does recycled animation that was done originally by Jasper in "One Hundred and One Dalmatians". Complete with a recycled voice track from that scene. I've always recognized it from that very film every time.

    For the wizards dual battle scene, I wish you made references to Nimona, an animated movie based on the book of the same name.

      It's "You big Hindenburg!" Because in the original, Mim says "You big blimp!" (Though the Hindenburg was actually a zeppelin, it's still similar to a blimp, and I've done this same joke in an "Arthur" YTP.)

    I always felt bad for the squirrel and wished she could be transformed into a human.
    I'd trust the squirrel not to cheat on him with Sir Lancelot.
