Hi, Paul! Wasn't this the coolest?!?! The fact that all of these were in the same place at one time 🤯. We felt like we had no choice but to make this video to show you. We loved them all! L+D
What an awesome Video 👏 My favorite is the 1947 Curtis Wright. What a beautifully restored vintage Airstream. This is show stopper and worth the price of admission. Oh and let’s not forget the sound track added to the way you showcased this Airstream.
Hi, Rich and Cindy! You're soooo close. We're still a looooong ways off. #AirstreamGoals Eventually, we'll be able to join y'all in the vintage cool kids section. They definitely know how to party, and we love it! L+D
🤣 It's hard to argue with that fact. Everything does look better in teal! Thanks for the birthday wishes Diane and Randy. We can't wait to hang out with y'all again. L+D
1947 Clipper is my style:) It's beautifully decorated with lace curtains and period decor that is very classy, even tho I am a farm gal. It's very interesting these were built using material from war times planes! Thank you for showing all these wonderful historical trailers, it was wonderful to see inside them all.
Thanks, Tall Cedars! We honesty felt as if we were taking a step back in time with these. The details were immaculate, and you could tell that lots of love went in to each an every one of them. We’re glad you enjoyed the video! Lauren + Daniel + Dash
Right?! That being said, we loved them all. This was such a memorable experience. I'm glad we were able to capture this on video to share with y'all. L+D
They were all lovely, but the 1947 Curtis-Wright Clipper was my favorite. The polished exterior aluminum looks like a 1940s airliner and the aviation inspired interior completed the aeronautical theme.
Now your speaking my language! All I have ever owned are vintage AS. A 63 globetrotter,64 overlander,70 globetrotter(twice),and my current 80 Caravelle. You get hooked on the vintage trailers! Stay safe.
Becky, isn't it the cutest?!?! We're particularly fond of the color. So perfect. They have a matching truck too! We're hoping to see the two of them together at some point in the future. 😍L+D
Steve, weren't they amazing! We loved them all. If you happen to be in Maine in July, there's going to be another annual Airstream rally and there will be LOTS of vintage units there! We'll be there, so in case you can't make it, we'll be sure to capture more vintage Airstreams to share with y'all! Lauren + Daniel
We completely agree, Stephanie!!! They were all so beautiful, and each represented a different period in history. You can't help but wonder where these have been, the stories they all carry with them, and so much more! L+D
Yisim, we agree! It's hard to say that any one was our favorite. They all represent different times in history and the owners have taken special care to pay tribute to those times. We're glad you like this video as much as we did! This was one of our all-time favorite videos. L+D
I like the last one the most with the little airplanes, even the clock has wings. My dad was a pilot, and Airstreams were made to be aero dymanic similar to airplanes, including the over head bins. Like on an Airplane. But I do love them all, they each had their own character and designed so nicely and so cute. Thank you for this video, and I enjoyed it.
Blanche Frog, that is so cool! That’s probably what we loved the most about exploring these beautiful Airstreams. They felt like stepping into a time capsule. ❤️
Excellent walk through; this video was top notch and the theme music took us there. Each one was so unique and beautiful. But if I had to pick one. The Arogsy but I love having my babe so the 1956 Safari was my other favorite.
Lauren, that was an awesome tour!! It's difficult to pick a favorite, but all the designs are inspiring and gives me decor ideas for our Classic 33. Great video!
Thank you Tracy K. We had such a blast creating this video and getting to learn about each of these Airstream’s history and stories! What year is your 33 Classic? 😍
@@Wanderlocal it's a 2021, early model before they started 12 volt fridge, but it does have composite flooring. Decor is the cognac maple with macadamia upholstery. We do plan a couple tweaks in next few months. Love what you did to your closet! We'll probably do same.
These are truly amazing and I could live in one as long as I have a/c, and at least a queen bed because I will end up on the ground for sure if I sleep on one of those twin beds.
Best video seen so far. My favorite was the Curtis-Wright! That's because I have one and although it's not as complete or restored like that beauty, it's in Texas. Mine is about a 23 footer. The neat thing about C-Ws' is their "full width door".
That particular one seems to be a fan favorite! Especially, with the amazing color choice they made. It's even prettier in person AND they have a matching truck. They didn't bring it along with them on this trip, but we're hoping to see the Argosy/truck combo in the future! We hope you're having an amazing week! 😀L+D
Omg!! Vintage is so beautiful! But honestly, I LOVE yours the most. Vintage is nice to look at, and realize the beauty of the time period, but as for traveling - give me the 2021! Lol! My dream as a little girl was to one day own my own airstream. Can’t afford one, so I finally bought my first travel trailer and I’m loving it. I live vicariously thru you two watching your airstream adventures! Thanks for doing this. I’ve been binge watching since I discovered you on RUclips!!! Good luck, safe travels, and keep these videos coming!!
Slingerland61, isn’t she a beauty?!? We loved the design of the Safari and the amazing aluminum ceiling. 😍😍😍 This is what Airstream dreams are made of!
Jerry & Roz, as much as we love all of these vintage Airstreams, we love ours the best too. Maybe we’ll get a vintage one someday, but it’s hard to be our Airstream Classic for full-time RV life. 😍
@@Wanderlocal prob not for a few years I really love the flying cloud but have to work up to that. Prob hoping to get maybe a used one, one day until then I live vicariously through yours and other RUclips’s I watch.
Nice! You’re going to love owning an AS. Let us know if you have any questions along the way. Happy to help! Until then, we’re excited to have you along on this journey. We hope we can inspire you to visit a few of the places we’re highlighting. 🙂
Liz, it's hard not to be partial to your own Airstream. 🤷♀️We totally get that. As much as we love all of these, our favorite is our 2021 Airstream Classic too. We would LOVE to see a 1987 version of the Classic though. I'm sure it's beautiful. ❤️
@@Wanderlocal Wehave updated the interior with new flooring, carpeting, blinds, and curtains. But, still a 1987. Congratulations on towing. I am going to when we're able to visit our family in Tennessee. Maybe we'll see you down the road. #1523 Maybe we'll see you down the road
Airstreams are so cool. There was one in a site next to mine and it was breathtaking. Super cool video detailing interiors. Thanks for sharing this awesome video.
Hi Smalls Family! 👋 Isn't it so fun to get to see how people do different things with their Airstreams? We loved seeing the personal touches that each of these owners made to their vintage travel trailers! As always - thanks for watching - and we hope to see ya'll down the road! 🏕
Wow!!! That was an amazing video. It's so exciting to see the history. I loved them all, but I LOVED the last one with the plane theme. The first one is a close second for me, but they were all amazing! Thanks so much for the video and Airstream history lesson 😀
Hi, Edward! Yay, that's so exciting. Be sure to tell them Wanderlocal said 'HI;. We were just there a few weeks ago. They are all so nice there! It's become a solid home base for us there. Be sure to grab a couple of lawn chairs, maybe a beer/wine, and check out the live music at night. They also have pizza, so if you don't feel like cooking you're all set! Let us know how you like it. L+D

Have to say in the 70's we called it Harvest Gold, not Sunshine. Sorry to say I lived thru those particular colors. LOL Loved your video. The couple with the 47 Curtis Wright have a lot in the same park we do and I got to see it in person this past weekend! It is even more impressive in person.
Wow, best video of all times not just yours but everyone’s. Also, you have become a great host. I really like your enthusiasm. The 1947 was my favorite if I had to pick but, they were all great thanks for sharing this.
Hi, Bert! Oh yeah, that was a nice one...and obviously, a good year! 😉Honestly, before shooting this video we'd never even considered a vintage trailer - but now we'd love to own one someday! They were all amazing. L+D
I love the first one from the 70’s. I want it!! I would love to go to one of these vintage Airstream rallies. How can I find out when/where they are? I’m in Southern California.
When to you plan on going to Alaska when you go you should go during salmon season and stay at delina state park also see the northern light if you go during the winter
